Ingrid leaned back in her chair, oozing confidence. She even had the nerve to smirk at me. I wanted to kiss that smirk right off her face. Wait. Did I say kiss? I tugged at my ear trying to ignore the indecent thoughts that kept coming into my head. What power did this woman have on me? “Do you know each other?” Mr. Jicks Asked. I looked between the two my brain rattling for answer but I couldn’t exactly so yes your boss had kissed me and I practically fondled her breasts in the car park stairwell. “Miss Green is my new secretary.” I looked up suddenly. I hadn’t told her my surname and I certainly hadn’t agreed to be her secretary. “But that’s my job.” Mr. Jicks Replied. “Not anymore. You can run the floor like normal but Miss Green will now see to my every need. Switch desks with her. Let’s make this transition as smooth as we can shall we.” We both stood in silence as she got to her feet and grabbed her phone and purse. “I’m going to pop out for a moment. I hope to see progress when I return.” She strutted out of the office, her perfume that smelt like sweet honey wafted up my nose. The door shut and the office filled with a tense silence. “I’m sorry. I didn’t come here to cause any trouble.” Mr. Jicks Stepped forward. “Just make sure you stay out of my way.” He threatened. He stormed out and i meekly followed. He cleared off his desk, loudly so that everyone looked our way. I could feel the heat in my cheeks, embarrassment seeping through. It only worsened when I sat down at the computer. Mr. Jicks Went over and sat at my desk and not long after he had told everyone what had happened. Everyone kept looking at me, whispering. I was three hours into the job and already I had made myself known to everyone. This was not what I planned. The computer beeped in front of me and I looked up to see a message from Ingrid. Straighten your back, type into the computer and make yourself look busy. They’ll soon stop talking about you. I looked around but there was no sign of Ingrid anywhere. How did she know? I typed a quick reply. Is there anything I should be doing? I’ll be back in five minutes; make a black coffee and put it in my office. I got up and had nearly walked away from the desk when the computer beeped again. Make yourself a drink as well and wait for me inside. I want to see you. I gulped at the - I want to see you - my stomach filling with butterflies. I shook it off. No she was just being professional. She wanted to see me to give me orders, that’s all. I headed to the kitchen area to make drinks. Mr. Jicks Was there and quickly left, shoving against my shoulder as he left. I made the drinks and headed to her office. The glass surrounding the office was one way so that meant no one could see in but inside you could see out which meant I had a little time to snoop. I checked regularly but there was no sign of Ingrid. Her office was like a museum. There were shelves of classic books, trophies and medals of different awards and photos. There were many and she was stunning in all of them but there was one that just caught my eye and I couldn’t look away from it. Ingrid was in a black dress, low cut with her breasts prominent but as stunning as she looked the lady on her arm was what I was drawn to. She wore a red low cut dress and her lips were on Ingrids. My hands tightened around the frame. Who was this woman? And why was she kissing Ingrid? I took a deep breath. Why did I care? Could it be that I was jel- “Jealous?” Ingrid whispered seductively in my ear. I jumped and dropped the picture but ingrids hand snapped out and caught it. Her reflexes were amazing. She looked at the picture. “I forgot I had this. A past love framed in gold. I suppose it’s ought time to get rid of it.” She walked around me thought there was no room and our breasts rubbed against one another as she leaned over and placed the frame in her bin. She didn’t move and looked at me. “I can feel a burning question inside of you, Miss Green.” She was right. There was something inside of me burning a hold in my gut. “Ask.” She said. “Earlier.” I started. “What happened between us, with the kiss, is that something you do to everyone or was that specially for me?” Ingrid lips curved into a smile. “What would you like the answer to be?
