Mike had just woken up from what truly was a near death experience. Silver had been injected into his bloodstream and even now, we were all watching the silver that was previously in his body moving around in two medical bowls trying to slither out.
"What on earth is that?" Killian muttered to himself.
"I'm not sure", Princess Cecilia said nervously. "But that silver has a life of its own. Once it makes contact with human skin, it finds a way into the bloodstream. Silver is deadly to most magical creatures. It prevents any healing from kicking in and its poisonous to them. But this..." She trailed off.
"This means even a healer won't be able to help someone who's been injured" Killian interjected.
"Mike, you said Raphael did this to you?" I asked him.
