Lily gradually walked towards me and leaned forward towards my hand. I held my breath and could feel the adrenaline pumping through my veins rapidly.
Lily’s hands were trembling as she tried to peel off the plasters and pull the needle out of my hand as instructed by me.
“Ouch!” I cried out because unfortunately, the needle broke inside me while she was trying to take it out.
I winced in intense pain making an effort not to show too much of the pain I was going through at that moment. I could sense Lily's unease and fear as she stared at me in deep silence.
