Avalynn’s POV
I blinked several times when I heard what Steven had told me. He was biting his lips, and there was amusement in his eyes as if he couldn’t believe I acted that way. I was speechless; I didn’t know what I should say.
Hearing his words made me lower my head and try to hide the embarrassment that I was feeling. Even though I wanted to forget what I had told him, I couldn’t. It feels that my words kept playing inside my head. I couldn’t even forget what we both shared inside the car.
“Hmm. I don’t know what to think about it, especially since you even try to run away from our upcoming wedding. You make me amuse on you.” Steven teased, my cheeks burned in humiliation. I didn’t want to look at him because he would do anything to make me feel I wasn’t true to my words.
