After Avalynn heard Steven speak, she went back to her sense. She bit her lips and closed her eyes. She hoped that Steven wouldn't ask her if she told him that she didn't like him to pick her up.
She needed to make sure that Steven wouldn't know that she wasn't staying in the Thompson's house. She didn't want him to be suspicious of her.
“Oh, I'm sorry. I'm thinking about what you asked me, and I feel I like taking a bus, so you don't have to pick me up. Just send me the locations where we can meet.” Avalynn sounded happy.
Steven pursed his lips and commented, “You're trying to get independent. Okay, I will send you the location where we can meet. Just please be safe. I will wait for you.”
