After Steven whispered those words, his tone became more dignified, and Avalynn's mood suddenly became tense. She was scared that Steven might catch that he didn't have his shackles and thought they would be in danger.
Steven slowly moved, and within a few seconds, he successfully put the handcuffs on his hands once again. He looked at Avalynn as if he was waiting for her to say something to him.
Steven coughed and felt disappointed. He shook his head and said, “Get up! Please follow my next instructions. If I tell you to hide behind me, I want you to hide behind me too fast. For now, I didn't know what's the purpose why they took us. Please follow everything I said; I didn't want you hurt.”
