Hannah's POV
The next day when I woke up and got ready for the office, I felt a bit relieved that today I will talk to Christian. My heart was at peace that today, we will clear our misunderstandings. I came to the firm. I started doing my usual work. At lunch time I took a break and checked my social media. I tried so much to concern trate on my work. But my thoughts drifted back to Christain.
Sitting at my desk, I stared at my phone, debating whether to try him one more time. But I didn't do it, needing to check in with someone familiar, I tried calling Aubrey a few times, she didn't pick up. So, I decided to video call Sarah. She had been one of my closest colleagues at the office, and I missed our chats. Besides, it was about time I caught up on what was happening back home.
