I’d never really sat down to have a talk with Aleksandr before. Not like this. Of course, we were in the same circles because we were bear shifters, but it was never just him and me alone. We never had anything to share like this, but now… well, now we’d had this intense bonding experience. Something to hold us together and to give us something to talk about.
“So, what do we do now?” Aleksandr asked me carefully. “Because they are not done yet, are they? They are coming back.”
I took a deep breath. “Yeah, they’re coming back. There is no way the Lycan royal family is going to just leave Sindra here. They need her back, don’t they?”
My heart sank as I said that out loud. The thought of Sindra being dragged out of Twin Lakes when she really didn’t want to go was just horrible
