I was so relieved to have found someone that could possibly help us. Now I can spend some quality time with my family. I hurried back to my own territory where I could share the good news with Amelia. The trip home didn’t take near as long as it did to get to the White Wolf Pack, I didn’t have to make all the stops in between each pack. As soon as I was close enough, I alerted the Guardians that I would be arriving at the border within the hour. My horse was at a full gallop right now, the sounds of his hooves beating on the ground thudding as we went. I was leaning forward giving him the reins. He knew where he was going.
