Orla’s P.O.V
I had been preparing the flowers for Adeline’s first birthday with the ladies in the hall when I was called away to help Leesha with food preparations in the kitchen. I excused myself to find out what I could help her with. I noticed that Amelia and Calvin were leaving the hall as well, presumably to meet the man who had come to help Adeline. I quickly set a bowl of hazelnuts down on the table for them to enjoy when they returned. It would be a nice appetizer before they get their meal served to them. I then hurried to the kitchen to see Leesha.
“Hello Leesha, what seems to be the problem?” I asked her.
“I just needed to know if you had the final number of guests for me, so I know about how much food to prepare and if you thought we should have chicken as well,” she said
