My mother should be getting here soon to help me get into my dress. It wasn’t long before there was a knock at my door and my mother came in. She was already dressed in her purple gown and looked beautiful. She complemented me on my hair as she came in and shut the door behind her. I smiled.
“Thank you, mom. You look amazing too,” I returned the compliment.
“Sinead, that dress looks lovely on you as well. We had better hurry and get this girl in her dress, the guests are almost here and waiting.” my mother said to Sinead.
“Thank you, Amelia, for having a dress made for me, it’s beautiful,” Sinead said as she walked over to where my dress was on the display stand.
