Adeline’s POV
We had all woke up early for our trip to the castle today. I hadn’t really slept well last night, even though I had a bed to sleep in. I tossed and turned in the bed for hours before falling asleep. I couldn’t stop thinking about what was going to happen when we reached the castle. I was both nervous and excited about going back home. I wasn’t sure how my parents would react to everything I had to tell them. I was also anxious about how my dad would react to Rionn. What was it that had caused Rionn to be so angry with my father? I figured I would be finding out soon enough. The castle was just coming into view from where we were on horseback at the top of the hill. There was still quite a way to go. Surprisingly we weren’t as far from the castle as I had originally thought
