Liam’s POV My arm wasn’t hurting as badly with the salve on it, but it still burned. I tried to convince Adeline not to touch the tree either. She was right however; we had come all this way and it would be wrong to try and stop her. I tensed and held my breath as Adeline reached for the tree.
