Roadkill To a Different Place Now

854 Words
We ran to the front of the limo, anticipating on what we would see. The guy I saw before when I was trapped in the sand dome lied there. He was roadkill. I turned, not wanting to look. Demitri was like, at least I don't have to translate boring script anymore. The other brother growled, glaring at me. You killed our freaking mentor! He was with us since we were TWO YEARS OLD! Come on Demitri, lets go I am to repulsed to even look at her. DO NOT TALK TO HER THAT WAY OR I WILL... You will what I spoke glaring at the other brother with hatred."I will hurt you. I don't want to look at you dummy!" I lunged, running at him and shifting. I let my rage wash up on me. He ran, feet kicking up pebbles. Demitri leaped at me whispering in my ear. I calmed down, looking at the dead body with disgust. "I cannot believe your brother would do something like that." Me neither, lets check his pockets for something that would show why he was walking in the middle of the road. I smiled at him, feeling compassion for the one living creature who has my side always."I will do it then." He sat back on his haunches, watching my every move. I slowly crept up to him. His eyes suddenly opened. I shrieked and ran over to Demitri. He was laughing in my head, and then I started laughing. The guy frowned,"I am dying and you laugh? I thought I taught you boys better. You must be Demitri then. And who's-" He stopped speaking in a a fit of coughing. I can't believe he was still alive and it looked like Demitri couldn't either. He then took his bloodied leather jacket off and slid it to us. He only said one thing."Curse the person that ram me over." I think he meant ran, But I couldn't tell. Golden sparkles flooded out of his skin, and took to the air, following the brother. "He accidentally cursed your brother didn't he?" I believe so. I grabbed the coat, running inside the limo. Demitri followed in back. "I need to get a job." Why would you need a job? "Why wouldn't I?" We need money and I don't really like terrorizing people to get money. It may be fun to you, but not to me. He came up front, slyly curling up on the chair and placing his head on my lap. I quickly looked back to the road. Who says I like terrorizing people? His muscles rippled as he stared up at me. "You terrorized me!" He blinked. You are not a person. I swerved, making him claw my seat so he doesn't fall out of the chair. "That was rude to say." It is rude to throw the cat off of the seat. "I don't even consider you a cat. Cats easily pick up diseases. I think of you as a big cat or Dimitri. Is it a compliment or a insult. I do not appreciate it if you call me big. "Compliment, dummy." I then turned into the parking lot of the hotel. Letting us in, I finally managed to soak in the hot tub. I came out, ready to find work. Finally, after a lot of research, I chose an accounting job. I then went to bed. I was horrified that in the morning, my bedroom door- knob was changed and locked from the outside. I was furious. "That darn cat, what if a vampire came through the window?" I would flay him alive. I do not want you working if we have to complete a mission. "You could of just told me." What would be the fun in that? "Demitri!" Just open the jar already "Fine." I twisted the lid off, finding two slips of paper and a small bag. One paper was talking about what to do when on Devil's bridge, and the other said this; I found my mate one day. She was mad and said that I was only human. The next thing I know, she pushed me off Devil's Bridge. We fell to a mystical land, and she gave me a whistle. She told me it would summon a guide. I never used it. She used hers. I wonder were she got it. Once she used it, it turned into a mammoth. The tour was over and it turned back into a whistle. I wanted to leave, and she rejected me as a mate. Now, I am alone with my otherworldly robots, while she found someone else. Opening the bag, I found a whistle. I heard scratching out the open window. Cautiously looking down, I saw Demitri climbing up. He then told me he remembered something, and ran to the library. I hate it when all he does is tell me where he's going and that's it. Luckily the library was closed and he sneaked through an opened window. He came back later with a weathered book, and promptly announced, Pack your bags, we're going to the Bermuda Triangle.
