Craving His Touch

Chapter 3

"Hey! What do you mean by scoffing?" Kane asked, with a voice that seemed like he had been wronged but Edward ignored him and went back to work. Kane just snorted and sat on a seat opposite him. "You know sometimes I wonder how you can be so free despite having a lot of work to do in your company" Edward suddenly said getting Kane's attention as he suddenly removed his face from his phone and looked up at Edward. His face was slightly ashen as if he was deprived of an extremely interesting thing that was entertaining him from his phone.

"What? You don't think that I'm right? you are practically lazy" Edward didn't even bother to ask why his face was like that, he immediately thought that it was because of his words so he snickered and added another jab. "What are you saying? I always complete my work before coming here, that's why we have Managers you know. I would go through all the docs, read them thoroughly, and then tell my manager what to do, see? And then it's done" Kane replied as if he was giving Edward the best advice in the world. Edward scoffed "Just lazy" Edward added and Kane's face became unsightly.

But Edward knew that he was just triggering the man's anger so that he could leave. If anyone didn't know Kane they would immediately believe what Edward just said but the truth is that Kane is so intelligent that he could read through every contract, understand them thoroughly, and weigh the best deal out of them, but he could not do all this without a good Manager so that girl that works for him deserve credit too.

"You haven't answered my questions earlier man" Kane suddenly said, his voice was full of curiosity as he immediately slipped his phone inside his suit pants. "Who was that pretty that I saw at the door? she is exactly my type, so beautiful" Kane's handsome face was filled with dreamy eyes at that moment so he didn't notice Edward's Change of temperament. "It's none of your business" Edward blurted out and continued his work. "What do you mean? How is she, not my business? your business is my business, your best friend said he fancies her won't you help your man out?" Kane almost bellowed. He couldn't understand what was Edward's problem today.

"I know you don't love her, you only 'love' her, and after the s*x, you won't bother anymore, so no, I won't help you out," Edward said with gritted teeth, he never wanted to talk about Hazel this moment but Kane can't understand the signal of 'Not interested in the conversation' mood for once. Besides the more he talks about her, the more her image appears in his mind and the more he gets turned on. Even though his craving has subsided, his d**k was still hard for f***s sake.

"Wait! When do you, Edward of all people start caring about love?" Kane's eyes widened in shock. He felt like he was seeing another version of Edward he has never seen before "You that didn't give a damn about that word previously" Kane said, still trying to understand something. Edward groaned inwardly 'What have I gotten myself into by making this kind of friend for f**k sake' "Kane you need to understand something, that girl is not a 'f**k for a night' girl, and have you ever wondered what she was doing in my office in the first place if she was not a f**k girl" Edward said "Besides how would you feel if I d**k your sister" Edward added.

"I dare you!" Kane shouted, he seemed to have been touched on his weak point. Edward was sorry for what he just said but he couldn't voice it out because it was his only chance of ending that exact conversation, even though he knew that Kane would react this way and it worked. The truth of the matter was that Kane's sister had been crushing on Edward since she was in college, and Edward and Kane were in the university then. Everyone thought that she would pass that phase with time. Now she is in the university while Edward and Kane have graduated but instead of her crushing to stop it turned into something deeper to the extent that she refuses to have a boyfriend if not Edward.

This was Kane's lifetime regret, he regretted that first night he brought Edward to their mansion. They were in the university then and Edward was the hottest jock, no girl could resist him at all, Kane knew of the fact but he underestimated the man's charm and the result was his younger sister falling for him. But even upon the regret he still knew that even though he didn't bring Edward to their house that night, he would still bring him another day, after he thought of this many times he forwent the thoughts but he has since sworn that his sister would never have the opportunity to see Edward again and he immediately stopped Edward from visiting his home.

His sister became angry with him that period but after she saw how determined Kane was, she knew that being angry with him wouldn't be the solution to her problem so she immediately dropped her anger. What also got Kane scared shitless was the fact that Edward was taking all of that as a joke or comedy that didn't worth his time, that moment he knew that if given the opportunity, Edward would f**k the hell out of his precious sister and not give a f**k about anything. That was when his determination heightened. Although he does it a lot to girls with Edward those girls are more mature. They are no longer the 'precious little pretty' of a family so Kane never felt any guilt while f*****g them. But little did they know that Kane's action heightened his sister's craving for Edward.
