CHAPTER TWO

She gasped out breathing heavily, She held onto the bed sheets tightly.
It was all a dream again. The truth of her life just keeps haunting her. If just only her parent never died.
Her eyes suddenly caught a glimpse of the time. It was nine in the morning. She took her gaze to the other part of the bed.
He wasn't there. George wasn't there. She jumped out of bed almost immediately, her heart racing faster than usual.
She was always up by five in the morning or woken up by George roughly if she overslept.
So what happened today? why didn't he wake her up? Was this some type of a new trap he was trying to lay down for her?
Is he trying or planning on inflicting more pain on her? Wild thoughts filled her head, which only made her heart beat faster.
She made her way slowly to the bathroom to get freshened up.

"Long live the Alpha", His Beta bowed. George took his gaze from his cup of coffee to Theo.
He looked very tired and angry, not because of the act he pulled out last night but because his wolf hadn't given him a chance to breathe properly.
He keeps annoying him over and over again and won't listen to him.
"Hmm", He nudged his head at him. "Brought report from the border's guards", Theo said.
"Listening", He sipped a bit outta his coffee. " I got a report that the borders got intruded this early money at exactly 7:40 am", He said.
Almost immediately he spat out the coffee in his mouth. He angrily flung the cup across the walls
He banged his hand angrily against the table. "How incompetent!", He yelled.
Theo's steps retreated backward slowly. The Alpha was angry and it definitely wouldn't be good.
"Where are you going to?!", He barked. "Nowhere Alpha", Theo nudged his head trying to sound brave.
George exhaled deeply, " Go get me three warriors, tell them to meet me outside the manor. ", He ordered.
"OK Alpha". " You only got five minutes and you are here wasting it? ", He asked.
" I'm sorry Alpha", with that he scurried away.

She came out of the bathroom, she went straight to the door, locking it properly. She picked out a dress from a wardrobe and some undies.
She let her towel fall freely to the ground and slowly began to cream her body.
In less than twenty minutes she was done, that was how fast she learned to be.
She gripped her undies slowly putting them on. As soon as she was done. She grabbed her dress and quickly wore that.
She stared at the deodorant on the table and decided to skip it.
She gripped a broom and quickly swept her room. She removed the bedsheets, bringing another one from her wardrobe to change it.
Moving away from that, she quickly arranged her room, placing everything in its proper place and cleaning every dirty corner.
She sighed partially exhausted, it was time to get to phase two. She walked toward the door and pulled it open.
She trodded outside, walking slowly. She stared around.
He wasn't in the manor and the manor also felt kind of empty, his other executives weren't around either.
" Hey, panic servant, get me a glass of water", She suddenly heard a voice, she rolled her eyes, It was the gamma of the pack.
"Sure Gamma", She bowed her head, getting to work.
She walked into the kitchen and immediately got to work.

" So you're telling me right now that you are so incompetent to allow, a woman to intrude on my territory", He asked.
All the guards kept mute, all staring at the floor. "Give me an answer!!", He ranged.
"We are sorry Alpha if we got you angry, but we swear, we caught her immediately we saw her intruding" " one of the guards replied.
" So you're talking back at me now?..". The guard's expression crumbled up, he just asked them to reply.
" The audacity you got!!". A resounding slap landed on the guard's cheek and immediately he fell to the ground, flat on his face.
" Theo", He called out. " Yes Alpha", He replied. " Make sure every one of their head is beheaded before nightfall", He pointed his hand at the guards.
They all gulped down. They knew better not to plead, as it only infuriated the Alpha. " And get some warriors to replace them" " he added.
" Yes Alpha", Theo bowed his head. George suddenly took his gaze to the intruder.
He stared at the lady who stood before him, her head was bowed.
"So you dared to come into my territory?..", He laughed.
" How would you like it, if your head is made to roll on the floor?!", He raised his voice.
" I'm sorry Alphas I didn't mean to intrude, I'm from the Red Moon pack", her voice was shaking.
" I only came here in search of my mate. Please spare me", She pleaded.
"Your mate?...", He drawled. "Interesting", He added.
"Raise your head!", He ordered. She slowly raised her head to face him. George stared at her, his eyes widening.
A Silver lining flashed through the sky and disappeared in a second.
, "Mate?" George's wolf mindlinked, and immediately the uneasiness stopped.
He bent slowly toward her, "Mate", he muttered.

"Are you sure about this Mrs HaItida", The maiden asked.
"Yes ma", She nodded. The maiden hands slowly massaged her tummy.
She shut her eyes, tightly. The result must come out negative.
She doesn't care what the pregnancy kit she used earlier said, but it must be negative.
The maiden suddenly removed her hand from her tummy, and she stepped backward.
Haltida sat up almost immediately. She stared at the maiden, her expression was unreadable.
"What's the result? I'm I ..", She drawled. A bright smile suddenly appeared on the maiden's face.
"Yes ma'am, you are pregnant?", She clapped her hands.
" Oh no!", Haltida's thoughts ran wild. Her hand slowly went to her tummy rubbing it gently.
" I'd inform the Alpha about this great news", The maiden beamed.
"No." Haltida suddenly yelled. "Don't say anything to him", she quickly added.
"Why?", The maiden face cringed up. "I don't want to tell him to know now".
" I will tell him when the right time is due by myself" " she said.
" Promise me that you won't say this to anyone", She suddenly grabbed the maiden's hand in hers.
"Please promise me", She added. "You decide to make ma. I promise", The maiden smiled.
" Thanks", Haltida smiled back. " I will take my leave now?", The maid announced and made for the door.
Almost immediately the door shut opened revealing George.
Haltida's eyes widened, and the maiden stared at the Alpha, almost immediately She bowed her head.
"Good day Alpha", She swallowed hard. George took his gaze from Haltida to the maiden, shuffling his gaze between them for a while.
"Why are you here?" His Voice echoed in their ears. The maiden slowly raised her head up
"I…I…", She stammered. George's brows furrowed at her.
" She came to check up on me", Haltida chipped in.
"Yeah, I can see that", He smiled. " Why did come here to check on you?", He asked.
" She hurt her ankle" " the maiden quickly lied. "Oh!", George mouthed walking into the room.
He walked straight to where Haltida sat. " You can take your leave now", He said to the maiden.
" Yes Alpha", The door was shut closed soon after.
He places both of his hands on the bed leaning forward onto Haltida.
" I'm the Alpha panic servant and yes I know what you are trying to hide", He smirked.
Haltida swallowed their hand, could it be, he knew? but how could he? Or did he overhear them talking?
"But neither less, you can continue scheming all you want".
" The necessary arrangement would be made this evening, and then you…", He pointed his hand at her.
Haltida stared at him, beads of sweat forming on her head.
" We will discuss this in the evening, I'm in a good mood and do not want to ruin it," He said standing upright.
"Get two glasses of coffee, and bring it to my basement", He ordered. With that said he walked out.
Haltida's hand flew to her chest almost immediately, her heart was racing fast against her ribcage.
It was clear he knew something, but what did he know?.. This evening… What was he gonna do by this evening?
She sighed briefly, as she slowly rubbed her tummy. She had to remain calm, no matter what, for the sake of her child.
She slowly got off the bed, Before things got complicated she was going to inform him about her pregnancy.
With that thought in mind, she set out to work.

George held onto Rhoda's hand, his finger gently massaging them.
His heart was filled with content, he finally had his matte by his side, his Luna.
There was a sudden knock on the door, George frowned, who dared to trade disturb the moment he was having with his mate.
The knock came again. " Come in", he blurted out. The door hinges twisted and Hatilda slowly walked in.
The frown on George's face suddenly disappeared.
He suddenly placed a soft and deep kiss on Rhoda's shoulder, resulting in Rhoda chuckling.
Haltida stared at them. How shameless they both were, the guts the lady had to allow her husband to flirt with her in front of her.
" This is the drink you requested", Haltida said through gritted teeth, placing the tray on the table.
She turned backward and made to walk away. "Wait", Rhoda ordered.
Haltida slowly turned to face her. "Don't you know how to do your job properly", Rhoda asked.
"Get me the glass of coffee" " she added. Haltida stared at her, her anger building up the more.
She slowly walked to ward them, trying to calm herself down. She grabbed the cup of coffee and handed it over to her.
Rhoda smiled at her. She slowly took the coffee to her lips, sipping a little bit out of it, and almost immediately, She spat everything out right on Haltida's face.
Haltida slowly wiped the drink off her face, her blazing gaze falling on Rhoda ready to tear her apart. This was the peak of it all.
