Chapter Two.
As the night drew to a close, Isabella's family decided to watch a movie together. They picked a romantic comedy, and Isabella snuggled up on the couch with her family.
As they watched the movie, Isabella's mind began to wander. She thought about her day, her classes, and her experiences at the bakery. She felt grateful for her family and friends, and she knew that she was lucky to have such a supportive and caring environment.
After the movie, Isabella's family decided to call it a night. They said their goodnights, and Isabella headed to her room, feeling tired but content.
As she got ready for bed, Isabella couldn't shake off the words her mom had said earlier. "Isabella, you need to think about your future and have a goal outside the pastry business." Her mom's words had been meant to encourage her, but they had left Isabella feeling a bit discouraged.
Isabella looked at herself in the mirror, wondering if she was good enough. Was she talented enough to make it in the pastry business? She felt a pang of doubt and uncertainty.
She knew her parents wanted the best for her, and wants her to study and become a lawyer. It would be difficult in trying to convince them to see reasons why they should suppose her in chasing her dreams.
She took a deep breath and tried to shake off the feeling. She knew that she loved baking and working at the bakery. She enjoyed making people happy with her pastries and treats.
Isabella climbed into bed, feeling a bit troubled by her thoughs. She knew that she still had a lot to learn as regards to managing businesses. Shutting her eyes, she drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, Isabella woke up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. She got dressed and headed downstairs, where her mom was already making breakfast.
"Good morning, sweetie," her mom said, smiling. "How did you sleep?"
"I slept well, thanks," Isabella replied, taking a seat at the table.
Her mom handed her a tray containing oatmeal, a bread and a glass of milk. Isabella dug in, savoring the delicious taste.
As they ate breakfast, Isabella's mom reminded her about her shift at Sophia's store. "Don't forget, Isabella. You're working today. Make sure you're on time."
Isabella nodded, making a mental note. "I'll be there, Mom. Don't worry."
With breakfast finished, Isabella headed out the door. She walked to Sophia's store, enjoying the fresh air and the sounds of the city.
When she arrived at the store, Sophia greeted her with a warm smile. "Hey, Isabella! How are you today?"
"I'm good, thanks," Isabella replied, smiling. "Ready to work."
Sophia nodded, handing her an apron. "Let's get started, then. We have a lot to do today."
As Isabella worked at Sophia's store, she learned about the different products and services they offered. Sophia taught her about the various types of coffee and tea, and how to prepare them.
Isabella was always fascinated by the different flavors and aromas of the coffee and tea. She enjoyed learning about the various brewing methods and techniques.
As the day went on, Isabella helped out with customers, taking orders and serving them with a smile. No double she gets along with people really fast so it's normal for her to interact with the customers, and she found herself chatting with them easily.
One customer, a regular, asked Isabella about her day. She told him about her classes and her experiences at the bakery, and he smiled.
"You're a talented young woman," he said. "I'm sure you'll do great things."
Isabella smiled, feeling happy and confident. She knew that she still had a lot to learn, but she was excited for the opportunities that lay ahead.
As the day came to a close, Sophia thanked Isabella for her help. "You're a natural, Isabella," she said. "I'm glad to have you on board."
Isabella smiled, feeling happy. She's thankful for having Sophia as a friend.
She has always been there to give her that little push she needs to furge ahead.
Night came and Isabella sat in her room, surrounded by textbooks and notes, diligently reading ahead of the curriculum. She had always been a diligent student, and she knew that staying ahead would give her an edge in class.
The next day, Sophia, her friend from a different class, greeted her warmly. "Hey, Izzy! How's it going?" Sophia asked, using the nickname she often used for Isabella.
Isabella smiled, "I'm good, thanks. Just trying to stay on top of my schoolwork."
Sophia nodded sympathetically. "I know how that is. By the way, I was talking to Rachel, and she wants to know if you'd like to share a table with her at lunch."
Isabella raised an eyebrow, "Rachel? I don't think I know her."
Sophia explained, "Yeah, she's in my class. She's really nice, and I think you two would get along. Plus, she's been trying to make friends with you, but she's been too nervous to approach you."
Isabella considered Sophia's suggestion and agreed to meet Rachel at lunch.
When they met, Rachel seemed friendly and enthusiastic. "I'm so glad we're sitting together! I've heard great things about you, Isabella," Rachel said, smiling.
Isabella smiled back, feeling a bit more at ease. As they chatted, she learned that Rachel was a kind and genuine person. If there's one thing she's good with aside making pastries, it's to read people. She can tell if something is off simply by interacting with the person.
Later that day, Isabella's teacher asked a question about the previous day's material, and none of the students seemed to know the answer. Isabella, who had read ahead, raised her hand confidently and provided the correct answer.
The teacher smiled, impressed. "That's correct, Isabella! Well done!"
The class fell silent, and some students turned to look at Isabella with newfound respect
However, not everyone seemed pleased with Isabella's achievement. Some students stared at her with a mixture of admiration and envy, and one student in particular caught her eye. She was staring at Isabella with a scowl on her face, clearly disapproving of her.
Issabella however was not moved by her intimediating looks. She's not here to have a bone of contention with people. All she wants is to maintain her schoolership and make friends.
All through highschool Sophia has been her only friend, she is only fortunate to be in the same college with her.
"Hump, the newbie thinks she's smart" Daniella said with a daunting smirk on her face and her eyes still fixed on Isabella.
"We'll see about that" Lilly added, looking at Isabella too.
Daniella is cousins with Liam Hawkins, the owner of the school and the youngst CEO know to own Hawkins Colgomorate.

With her families influence, she tends to bully people and always get away with whatever she wants, and now, she's got a new target. A new victim.
