I pride myself on being able to clean up nicely after my tears. When I walked out of my room, without a trace of the mental breakdown I had just undergone, I still felt exhausted, and my migraine hadn’t gone anywhere. Vincent sat on a couch in the sitting room, his feet glued together and a cup of tea in his hands, just staring into the liquid contained in the cup. Seeing me, he rose up quickly, in the process almost spilling his tea. “Are you okay? Wait, no… stupid question… of course you’re not. But are you?” He inquired full of concern, coming towards me after putting down the cup. The way he complicatedly asked such a simple question almost made me laugh, but I only managed a weak smile, since any excessive movement of my head would only make my migraine worse. “I’m okay.” I assur
