When someone has something on their mind that they can’t wait to share, or when a person wants to say something to you so desperately it shows in the way their eyes search yours in an attempt to make deep eye contact.
Ian avoided Danika’s eyes like a plaque. He got Isaac, his little brother to go and bring mother and daughter home from the hospital early in the morning.
Danika noticed that as soon as she got to his house Ian was already getting into his truck ready to go to his office.
“Ian" she supported her baby that was sleeping soundly on her shoulder.
The man was too stressed to notice how desperate his woman was for them to talk, as in fix things. Thoughts of her leaving and how the children would cope in her absence threatened to sink all rationality into a deep black abyss.
