  The police car's siren echoed through the school parking lot, cutting through the afternoon air with an urgent sound. Curious glances from parents waiting for their children turned towards the vehicle with flashing lights as it came to a halt at the school's entrance. John Smith was there, his expression tense, worry etched across his face as he watched the approaching police car. He knew that every minute counted, each second of waiting increased his agony.   One of the police officers looked at him and asked, "Can I help you, sir?"   John maintained his posture, exuding confidence. "I'm John Smith, a former colleague in law enforcement and the new prosecutor of this city. I'm here to investigate an urgent matter. I need access to the school immediately."
