A scream left my throat as I saw my sister, only family member, lay lifeless on the floor.
I rushed to her with shaky hands, as all that came to my head was when similar thing had happened with mom.
When my hand came in contact with her skin, a pinch of relief flowed through my blood as I realized she was still warm.
Oh thank God.
I crouched beside her, tapping her, with tears blurring my sight.
"Suzy, Suzy wake up." But my scream seemed to be turning to deaf ears.
I tried to raise her up, but knew it'd be to no advantage so jumping to my feet, I scuttled out of the room and out of the house to where the driver was still parked.
"Help! I need your help!" I couldn't get my head straight.
The man looked confused, his eyes bulged out with fear evident in his expression, like he was experiencing a crime scene.
"I-Is everything okay ma'am?" His voice shook, but that wasn't what I cared about.
"I need you to take her to the hospital, now!" My whole body was shaking, my breath seemed to be coming out slower.
He got down from the car immediately, running into the house like the speed of light.
I followed behind him, leading him to the room where she still laid there on the floor, not moving an inch.
He lifted her from the floor, holding her in his arms in a bridal style, rushing out of the room and house with her while I followed behind, tears flowing like rivers from my eyes.
I couldn't get myself.
I opened the passenger door for him to put her in which he did, while I sat down, resting Suzy's head on my laps.
"Drive as fast as you can to the hospital!" I ordered when he had gotten into the car.
Thankfully, he was driving fast enough to sustain Suzy till we got to the hospital.

"She has already reached the stage where a surgery needs to be performed or else who knows what can happen." Doctor Mike's words only got continuous sobbing from me.
I can't lose Suzy, she's my everything. What would I do without her.
"You need to give us the money today or else we won't start the surgery." Although I knew he was just doing his job, I still got annoyed.
Why would such a rule exist? What if the person can't get the money ready before the patient can survive?
"But-" that was all I managed to say through the unending tears flowing from me.
I rose up from the chair I had been sitting in his office, heading to the door, and leaving without a word again.
Suzy needed the surgery and I needed to get the money.
She had been admitted to the hospital but of course they wouldn't keep her for long if she had no money to offer.
When I got out of the hospital, I headed straight to the car, opening the door myself and entering it.
The driver was in his driver seat ready to drive. "Where to ma'am?"
There was only one way to get the money and soon. "Take me to Mr Jones' house.
The engine roared, coming to life and allowed the car to start moving.
Was I so selfish to actually not want to take the money I needed for Suzy?
I was such a selfish and terrible sister.
It's not like I was getting married for a lifetime, only two years.
Thoughts of me being the reason she was unconscious broke a sob from me.
What a bad sister I was.
What a selfish and terrible sister Suzy was cursed with.
The drive back to Don's house was so silent, I was able to cool my mind a little with the breeze from outside.
When the driver parked, a bodyguard opened the door for me, closing it once I was out I.
I needed the money and fast.
That made me scurry to the house, taking a deep breath before opening the beautifully decorated door.
As soon as I walked in, I closed the door.
If my mind wasn't clouded about Suzy, I would have been drooling about the beauty of this house.
"You're back." I turned to see Don sitting on the couch with a cup of what I wasn't aware of on his hand, and his phone on the other.
"I need your help." My voice defined my emotion.
He turned to me with those devilish glare.
"My help?" The way he said it made me wonder if he wanted it to come out as a question or make me feel inferior.
"Suzy needs to get her surgery done and quick. Please give me the money." I clasped my palms, intertwining my fingers against each other in a pleading pose.
I noticed a side of his lips hitch up slightly into a smirk.
Was he really enjoying this? I was having a deep emotional breakdown and he was deriving joy?
This man really is a demon.
If I wasn't so desperate for his help, I knew how to deal with him.
"Please." I wasn't sure if he was going to give it to me but I would do everything in my power to save Suzy.
"Okay." He said finally after a long minute of silence and him checking something out on his phone.
Okay? Was he really going to help me?
I felt tears of relief run through my face. He was going to help me.
"Thank you, thank you so much."
He stood up, dropping his cup on a black round glass table.
"I'm not just going to give you for free,"
Of course, was I really expecting to get the money from him so easily.
Well, whatever his condition was I was willing to do it for Suzy. "W-What do you want?"
"I can't allow what happened today to repeat itself," He took slow strides towards me, fingers intertwined behind him.
"I'm sorry,"
"My lawyer will make a contract which you will sign, we will be married for two years and I don't want you saying you want to leave the marriage." He was now getting closer.
"I will get Suzy treated by one of the best surgeons in America, but only after you sign the contract."
He stopped walking closing the comfortable gap between us, seizing my breath.
"When will I sign the contract?" I hated myself for letting my voice come out so low.
"When it's ready, maybe tomorrow or the day after."
My brows furrowed, followed by ms stepping backwards, finally able to breathe.
"What do you mean tomorrow?" My voice came out louder than intended earning a glare from him.
"What if she doesn't make it till then? We need to start the surgery and now."
"That doesn't bother me." He sounded so indifferent, I felt like smacking his head. "How can I trust you to not run off like you just did an hour ago?"
What is wrong with this guy? She might not be able to hold on for a whole day.
Doctor Mike had said we needed to start the surgery soon.
Soon meant now. I need the money now.
