-Eri Sunville-
My eyes slowly opened, just to be greeted by white lights
Huh?
What was happening? Where was I? I didn't remember what had happened last.
But my confusion was soon clarified by the sharp pain that greeted my chest and throat causing me to immediately recall everything that had happened with the pool.
What happened next?
I only recalled the pain I felt drowning with no one to ask for help, but then I don't know what happened afterwards.
“You're awake.” A thick, masculine voice I recognized to be Don’s rang through my ear.
When I turned, be was scurrying towards me from the door, a wide grin planted on his lips.
He looked so pale and weak, that I was so surprised.
I'd never seem him that way.
I was so confused, especially when he gently leaned closer to give me a hug. “Gosh, I thought you were gone.”
He didn't pull from the hug.
Even when the door opened again, followed by Darien and Hane hesding in, a smile almost similar to Don's, planted on their faces.
“What happened?” I asked when he had finally released me from the hug.
“I should be asking you that.” He sat on a chair beside the bed I lay on. “What on earth were you doing beside a pool? And how did you lose your balance to fall into a pool when you know you can't swim?”
He had a frown plastered on his face.
But his scolding only worsened the headache I already felt.
“I didn't fall.” I said, after remembering the figure I saw beside me before I fell into the pool.
“Huh?” His brows were pulled in confusion this time.
“Someone pushed me into the pool, I didn't fall on my own.” After I said it, my heart started hammering.
Why would anyone push me? Was someone after my life?
He seemed to have read my thoughts, because he placed a hand on mine. “It's okay, do you remember who it was?”
I noticed his second hand was clenched to a fist.
“No, I didn't see the face of the person. He was dressed in black.” My tone expressed how panicky I felt at the moment.
“So you know it's a male.”
I shook my head. “No, I'm just guessing.” His questioning was making me even more afeared.
His grip on my hand tightened and I could see the vein popping from his neck. “What was he wearing? What was his height? Did he say anything?”
The fear in me bought tears to my eyes. “I don't know, I really don't.”
Darien placed a hand on his shoulder. “Calm down man.”
With that, his grip on my hand softened. “I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you,” he apologized. “I'll report this to the police and everything'll be alright, you should rest okay?”
A nod was all I could do at the moment.

“Oh my, I was so worried when I heard the news, are you alright?” Rose's voice made it obvious she'd been crying.
“I'm alright, how about Suzy?”
“She's in church.”
“Church?” That was a surprise. Suzy had never been to a church before.
“Yes, when we saw the news about you yesterday, she rushed to church to pray and when we heard you woke up, she rushed to church again.”
“Awwn, that's so sweet. I'm so sorry for bothering you guys.”
“It's alright, if Don hadn't done the CPR, who knows what might've happened to you.” She shook her head like she was thinking about what could have happened.
“CPR?”
“Yeah, you didn't know? Check any social media, you'll see it.”
“Oh, ok.” I did as she'd said, going straight to i********: where a video of a crying Don performing CPR for me with lots of water pouring out of my nose and mouth, appeared on my screen.
“Wow, look at water pouring out of me.”
“Yeah, when I saw it I was so scared, but thank goodness Don knew how to do it.”
“Yeah, I had no idea about it.” The thought of it made me smile.
Why was he crying? Was he that scared of loosing me? Did he like me that much?
“I'm just happy you're alright.” Rose said with a smile.
“Please make sure Suzy doesn't worry too much about me.”

I had been discharged and taken to the hotel with Don and Hane.
Hane wouldn't stop apologizing for leaving me alone no matter how many times I told her it wasn't her fault.
It was obvious see she was also equally worried about me.
Once in our hotel room, Don had not said anything but sauntered straight to his room while I went to mine.
Just to receive a group call from Suzy and Rose.
“Hi Suzy.” I greeted immediately after answering the call.
“How are you feeling now? Are you in pain? Do you need anything?” Suzy immediately asked with tears in her eyes.
“I'm perfectly fine, you don't need to worry.”
She let out a sigh of relief. “I was so worried.”
“That was evident. Church?” A smile appeared on my lips. “Since when did you start going to church?”
“Since when my sister almost died from drowning, of course I needed to do something.”
I chuckled. “Well, now I'm good. I guess your prayers worked.”
“Yes.”
“Okay, so now that you're good, did you thank Don?” Rose pitched in.
“No, not yet.” I wanted to, but hadn't found the right way to.
She furrowed her brows. “Why? You made him so worried.”
“I know, I just haven't found the right way to.” I admitted.
“You know,” a teasing smile appeared on Suzy's no longer teary face, “the best way to thank him is to give him something he might like.”
A confused creased forehead fell on my face. “Might like? What might he like?”
“We all know he likes you and if you're really greatful for what he did, you can thank him with a little peck on the lips.”
That made my heart beat faster. “What? Kiss?” I whispered just in case Don could hear us.
“Yeah, she's right.” Rose chuckled. “This man saved your life, the best way to thank him is to give him a slight peck, it can't hurt. Just make it look like a thank you peck.”
“But then what if he shouts at me?”
“He might and he might not, we won't know if we don't try.” Suzy's teasing smile hadn't left her lips. “Come on, he saved you. Who knows what would have happened if he hadn't done the CPR.”
“This is absurd.” So absurd that I had to hang up.
Why would they think I'd want to kiss Don? Yes he saved me but is the right way of thanking him giving him a peck?
It won't hurt anyone, would it?
I was obviously not thinking straight when I shambled out of my room, to his door.
With a deep breaths, I gave the door a slight knock.
“Come in.” The cold tone was back.
But this time, it made me actually rethink my decision.
A peck? Wasn't that crazy?
But well, now that I'd started it, I guess there was no going back.
So, my hands moved to opening the door, as I walked in without bothering to close it.
My eyes widened in shock when I noticed he wasn't dressed, only had a towel wrapped around his waist.
Gosh I couldn't help but admire that beautiful figure.
His broad chest was popped up, with the veins-coated biceps only giving him a more attractive look.
And oh my goodness, those six packs of his were worth drooling over.
I just hoped I wasn't actually drooling, because this was the definition of hot.
“Did you need something?” He snapped me out of my dream world.
It was when a smirk appeared on his lips that I realized he'd noticed my admiring.
Don't be dimwitted, of course he'd noticed.
Who wouldn't.
But then, surprisingly, with the smirk still on his face, he began moving towards me.
Out on impulse, my feet drew backwards, only stopping when my back came in contact with the wall.
But that didn't stop him from eating the gap between us, till his hands had me pinned against the wall, seizing my breath with it.
I knew I should push him away, but I couldn't find myself doing that.
“Uh I uh just wanted to tell you thank you.” Why was I stuttering?
I recalled what Suzy said, then stood on my tiptoes, linking our lips for just a second.
There, a peck.
I'd done my work and it was time to leave.
I gently pushed the shocked and confused looking Don, turning to leave but my movement was halted by his hand on mine.
He pulled me to him so my breast hit his hard chest, then crashed his lips against mine for a deep kiss.
The kiss sent shivers down my spine with butterflies swimming in my stomach and I couldn't help but kiss him back.
His hand found its way to my waist as our lips savored each other, deepening the kiss.
Gosh, the pleasure. The desire burning in me.
My hand moved to his hair with closed eyes so as to enjoy this wonderful kiss.
I didn't even realized when I let out a moan when his hands moved down, cupping my butt.
This was it, the desire in me was stronger than ever.
I needed more.
I felt myself moving forward but didn't care because he was exploring my mouth, doing different things I didn't know a man could do to it.
It was only when my butt landed on the bed that my brain snapped back to reality.
What am I doing? Am I crazy or what?
With all the force in me, I pushed him off me causing him to stagger backwards but he didn't fall.
“I have to leave now.” Abashed, I scurried out of the room.
