-Don Jones-
I was checking out the company's sales in Australia on my laptop when a knock came from the office door.
“Come in.”
Eri opened the door, closing it once she was in.
I raised my head from the laptop, unable stop myself from admiring her beauty.
She had gone shopping yesterday and bought clothes that were certainly better than what she wore before, and so the green knee length spaghetti handle dress she had on made her look undeniably pretty.
Her hair packed in a ponytail had caught my attention.
I couldn't stop noticing how beautiful it made her look.
But my admiration was certainly not made evident in my expression.
“Do you need something?” I didn't intend to sound so stern but it came out that way anyways.
“Uh, actually,” her fingers were intertwined together, making it obvious she had something to say, but was hesitating.
Why?
“Is there a problem?” I made an effort to soften my voice, not that it worked too well.
“No no,” she shook her head more than was needed, waving her palms in the air, “it's just that I'm heading to the hospital Suzy's in.”
So was that the problem?
Did she think I'd stop her from seeing her sister or something? “Well you can go.”
“I don't know the way to go, do you mind tagging along?” She gave me a nervous smile.
“Tag along? Why?” My brows pulled in a medley of surprise and confusion.
Why would she want me of all people to follow her?
“If you don't know the way, I'm sure you can meet any of the drivers, they'll take you there. I mean that's their job.”
“I know, I'm not expecting you to drive me there, I just want you to follow me.”
I could never be more confused.
Why did she want me to follow her? It just didn't make sense.
“Why?” I guess that was the only way to find out.
“Well, Rose can't come because she's got to work and I don't want to go alone.”
“How about your personal maid, Hale or something.”
“Hane's coming too but she'll be going in another car with all our loads," her eyes pleaded with me, "please just come with me. We won't take long.”
Normally I wouldn't have created room for her to ask such a question, but for some reason, seeing how those swaying hair popped up her beauty, I found myself wanting to stare at her more.
Okay so maybe it won't hurt to stop working for a moment and go on a drive with her to Suzy's hospital.

“Thank you so much for agreeing to come with me.” She hurled a warm smile my way, that annoyingly caused a little flutter in my heart.
“I still don't know how you talked me into this.” I muttered, staring as the trees passed quickly considering the speed at which the car was moving.
The drive was going to be a long one since the hospital was very far from home.
Eri and I were in one of my cars while Hane and whatever stuff Eri had gotten for Suzy were in another car.
The silence was boring so I decided to do some work from my phone.
After turning it on, I began sorting out whatever needed to be sorted out.
On their own accord, my eyes stole glances at Eri at intervals, amazed everytime those beautiful hair swayed when she turned to see something.
When I had done some of my work on the phone, I turned to stare at Eri whose head was laid back, eyes closed.
She was sleeping.
I couldn't help but notice how cute she looked as she slept.
My gaze shifted to those hair of hers that'd stolen my attention all day.
I needed to run my hands through that hair so I could focus on every other activity for the rest of the day.
Now, I know I shouldn't be doing what I planned on doing next, but at that point, my brain wasn't functioning well.
I mean, she's asleep. What she doesn't know can't hurt her.
I leaned closer, completely ignoring the side glance the driver was throwing at me.
That was something I'd have fired him for if my heart wasn't beating ten times faster, that I didn't care about him.
When I was very close to her, I gently stroked her hair, hoping she wouldn't wake up.
My fingers stroked it so gently, the feeling sent a flood of relief down my spine.
I should stop this.
It wasn't a smart thing to do and I hated the amount of pleasure I got from just touching her hair.
Just when I was about to pull over, a few strands of hair fell over her forehead.
Seems like it had pulled out of her ponytail.
I decided to just put it behind her ear and quickly go back to work on my phone before she woke up.
Because, it wasn't such a bad idea, right?
I put the strand of hair behind her ear, my fingers brushing her ear a little, causing a small smile to find its way on my lips but immediately disappeared when her eyes slowly opened.
That made me quickly jerk my hands away from her, creating a distance between us.
But it was too late, she'd already seen what I was doing.
“What were you doing?” Her voice was low, filled with bewilderment.
She was right.
What was I doing? I must've been out of my mind.
Hair! I let her hair distract me.
Gosh, why's my heart beating so fast. I hope she couldn't feel it.
I had to avoid her stare, by just pretending to be too focused on my phone.

“Eri” Suzy's voice was filled with emotion when we arrived.
She looked as tired as ever dressed in the hospital clothes.
Her hair laid roughly on her head, only adding to the weak look.
There was a nurse standing beside her with a note and pen.
“Suzy,” Eri ran to give her sister a hug.
They both stayed in that position, sobbing on each other's shoulders for a while before Suzy pulled apart.
“Where were you? When I woke up, I wanted to see you so eagerly but you were no where to be found.” Suzy was still crying and so was Eri.
“I'm very sorry, I would've come sooner.”
Suzy scanned her from head to toe. “You look beautiful.” She sniffed in before tuning to me, a weak smile planted on her face. “Hello Don.”
I returned her smile. “Hello.”
She turned to Eri and for a moment I guessed they were eye-communicating.
“Listen, I got a lot of stuff for you. You'll have to stay in the hospital for a few weeks, but don't worry I've got you covered.” She gestured for Hane to go to her with whatever she'd gotten for Suzy.
Hane handed it over to her, followed by Eri bringing them out one by one, listing their uses and benefits.
Staring at them, it made me wish I had a loving family like they did.
I don't think any member of my family would be so concerned if I was in the hospital, well maybe my mom.
But I was sure my dad would be worried about the company and not my safety.
I mean, he doesn't have any other child to hand over the company to and Violin would destroy it if she were to take care of it for a day.
Staring at Suzy and Eri, it was nice having a loving family.
