After yesterday’s disaster, Greta knew it was time to alter their routine. Ezra needed a change of scenery. Fresh air and stretching the legs were the order of the day. Waiting for Ezra to tie his shoes, Greta revealed their destination. “We’re going to Aunt Liesel’s. Won’t that be fun?” He nodded his head enthusiastically and then jumped up to his feet. “I know she isn’t really your aunt or mine, but she insists on the name. And well, it suits, don’t you think? She is part of our special family.” Ezra tucked his fist under his chin and looked pensive out over the yard.
