Marcus followed Edna to the cottage. Boyce didn't notice it, but Edna did. The moment she entered the cottage, Marcus knocked on the door.
"Why are you following me, Marcus?" Edna asked him, and he smiled.
"It is quite hurtful hearing you question me like that," he said with a smile. "First, you return and do not come to me. Then I watch you make out with the bear in public. What about me, Edna?
