Magdalena was diligent about the task Uriel had given her. Making a vessel to trap a supreme being's essence wasn't easy, but she put her back into it. It needed to work. She had to travel to and fro using the portal in her office, so instead of working from her home, she had to work from the office. Magdalena used the portal to travel to various places especially places that were outside the human world. Soon she found that she would need soul stones to complete the task. Killing just anyone won't do because it was against the council rules for supernaturals to kill humans, whether good or bad. She could only eliminate people she groomed to sustain her life, and she was yet to start grooming someone else, so she had to find other means to get the number of soul stones needed for the task.
