Chapter 19 Abel and Phelps

Abel journeyed in the darkness for a while and soon began to think he was walking on one spot. He was about to give up and turn back when the weather changed. There was heat radiating from afar in front of him, so he moved towards it. The heat would often change from hot to very cold, and as he moved closer, the effect intensified. It was as if he was drawing closer to the source. Suddenly the darkness began to clear up, and he could make out some figures. There were dead creepy-looking trees with skeletons hanging off them. There was a strong smell of decay, and gradually he began to hear moans and cries. As he walked, he looked around, searching for the metal door he needed to open for Phelps.
