Larcade sips on his cafe latter grande cup size while staring intently at the casino. He and Natasha were talking about random topics about cats. Since there are only a few customers of the cafe Natasha took a break time talking to Larcade. The said girl quickly noticed the young man’s stares at the famous casino. She raised her eyebrows with suspicion. She’s been noticing Larcade glancing when someone comes out or just passes by in front of the casino. “Larcade,” She called out to him that made him flinch and choke on his drink. Natasha was alerted when he begins to cough. “Oh my, I’m sorry!” She grabbed a napkin and offered it to the guy in front of him. Larcade wiped his mouth and was relieved that he quickly regained his composure. “It’s okay,” He said with a smile. He felt a nudge on Ashmit. The Maine coon worried for him. Larcade chuckled and pet him.
“So, are you gonna go to the casino later?” Natasha asked. Larcade widened his eyes a the unexpected question. “What?” He exhaled. Natasha jokingly rolled her eyes. “I saw you staring at the casino all the time. I assume you wanted to visit it. Too bad you’re still 4 hours early.” Natasha said while standing up. “And, you need to be of legal age,” She smirked and Larcade reacted. “I’m not a minor!” He said with an awkward face this made Natasha laugh. “I’m just joking!” She said while ruffling Larcade’s hair. She grabbed Larcade’s empty cup and put it on her tray. “ Royale is very pretty. I went inside there once with my boyfriend and the interior was magnificent!” She complimented the said casino. Larcade glances at the casino. “Natasha?” Larcade called out to her. “Hm?” She said while anticipating what Larcade would say to her. “You said you went in the casino once, do you find anything that seems suspicious inside?” Larcade asked as he tried not to sound weird. Natasha hummed while researching her memories. “No, not that I know of, no.” She said this made Larcade dismayed. Natasha noticed his reaction and was confused.
“My boyfriend is very close to the owner of the casino so I somehow knew that The casino has high security. Every staff in there are very friendly and I couldn’t sense anything peculiar. You do not need to worry!” She said in reassurance as she place her hand o his shoulders. “Royale's has much various entertainment you can do, just leave all the stress and have fun!” She exclaimed in an excited manner. Larcade chuckled and nod when she bid goodbye indicating that her break time is over. “Ashmit,” Larcade said when he looked down at the feline. “We have one lead, Royale is a high-security casino.” He commented with a sigh. ‘But, why was Loki here?’ Larcade grinds his teeth as he thinks of any reason. ‘One thing for sure, we are indeed in the right place.’ He thought while glaring at the still closed casino. “Let’s go Ashmit, we shouldn’t hang on here longer or someone will suspect us---” Suddenly he was cut off when he bumped into some guy’s shoulders. Because of the sudden impact, Larcade bounced off and was about to fall when luckily he hold on to the steel chair behind him. He look at who was the guy and was surprised to see himself clutching on the shirt of a tall male. He had purple eyes and a silver haired. Something struck on him about the appearance of the guy.
Something about his irises made Larcade shiver. He then felt something on his waist and realized that it was the guy’s arms. Suddenly someone was shouting. Larcade glance behind the tall male and saw someone skateboarding and screaming to move out of the way. Larcade was about to pull out from the man’s holds when he sees the person coming at them. But he widened his eyes when the said guys grip his waist and drag him to the side. The sudden action made Larcade surprised and without thinking both of his hands were clutching the tall male’s clothes. “Watch out!” The guy who was skateboarding shouted at them before driving away but both of them did not pay attention. The stares that bored into one another were terrifying as Larcade felt the grip on his waist tighten. Larcade panic, ‘He is not a human,’ And with that, a hand pushed the tall male. Larcade was successfully broken out from his grasp.
“Don't touch him,” Damian growled behind Larcade. The shorter male among the three looks at his companion surprised at his perfect timing. The silver-haired man squints his eyes at Damian. Both of the tall males glare at each other. Larcade noticed Damian’s eyes glow in a golden color. Larcade widens his eyes, fearing that Damian’s identity might be found out by the intimidating guy. ‘He’s not a human, Damian can feel it too,’ He thought as he tries to understand why Damian let him show his golden irises. Both of them did not say anything but as running up as a great sorcerer he can feel and smell the leaking aura of Damian with a mixture of someone else’s. Usually, Larcade would always think about a citrus smell coming from Damian when he let out his aura but a mixture of an aroma that is soothing but somehow suspicious edge Larcade. He then look at the other tall male and this made his eyes widen. ‘A sorcerer?’ He thought with a terrified look. He saw a trail of purple specs floating into the guy. He backed out and unconsciously grabbed Damian’s wrist.
The grip on Larcade’s wrist breaks the tension Damian gives at the other man. His aura contracted the same with the other guy. “Sorry,” Larcade slightly flinched as the deep but smooth voice of the guy made him feel weird. “He bumped into me I was helping him.” The silver-haired smile but not his eyes. His two pair of irises was staring at both of them. He bowed his head and walked away. When Larcade made sure that he was gone, he felt his knees give up and fall. Fortunately for our dear Larcade, there was a chair behind him. Damian was slightly pulled down when Larcade fell. “You okay?” He asked. “He was a sorcerer,” Larcade muttered under his breath as he finally realized who was that guy. “He was the same guy with Loki earlier.” This made Damian widen his eyes. “What?” Damian snapped his head in the direction of the guy. ‘Loki?’ That name made him scoff as he recalled his copycat.
Meanwhile, Lucas and Neveah were at the plaza. Lucas stared at his friend weirdly. “What the hell are you talking about?!” Lucas exclaimed while his brows furrowed into bewilderment. “Uriel! She was Uriel!” Neveah shouted while answering her friend. “Who is Uriel?!” Lucas then asked while placing both of his hands. “Uriel-she’s only… She’s-- I don't know who the fck she is.” Neveah said as her face and composure quickly calms down. ‘Her and her mood swings,’ Lucas thought while looking down with worry on his friend. “It’s the necklace-- I don’t know but It reacted when I saw that woman,” Neveah said laced with unsureness in her voice. Lucas stood there and watch Neveah plastered a confused expression. “The necklace? The white knight’s remnants? Why?” Lucas was also confused as Neveah was. “I do not know!” Neveah shouted, frustrated at these unanswered questions that keep piling up and her dear friend was also not of help. “All I heard was the name Uriel,” She said while touching the necklace and placing it on her palm without taking it off.
“Uriel? I think it has some kind of hidden meaning,” Lucas said while taking out his phone. Neveah stared at the necklace and suddenly a bright white flame was shown into the stainless accessory. Neveah widened her eyes and quickly pulled Lucas near her. Lucas reacted, annoyed. He saw Neveah staring at her necklace and Lucas for the nth time stared at the female with a weird expression. “What?” Lucas asked. “Bright white flames,” She said without even giving a glance to Lucas. The said guy also leaned and look at the necklace but he found nothing. He then moved his head and look at Neveah who was in trance at what she’s seeing. ‘Uriel, Bright white flames?’ He thought. He then look again at his friend and slightly pushed her but Neveah did not budge.
“Neveah,” Lucas called out to her while shaking her arms. “Neveah” This time a much louder voice. “Neveah!” He could not help but shout in front of the girl’s ears. Neveah flinched at the sudden loud noise and accidentally punched Lucas but the said guy, fortunately, blocks it. “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SHOUTING ABOUT??!!” Neveah’s voice was much louder than Lucas's. She was pissed off and rubbed her ears as she thought that she might have gone deaf. “You do not need to overreact your shout just now was the one to have the potential to make people deaf!” Lucas said glaring at her. “What do you call me for?!” She said returning the glare. “You were acting weird and it scared me so I don’t know any options so I did that,” He answered. He finally noticed the weird and annoying stares of the bystanders. “And earning an embarrassment too, Let’s go.” He said as he grip Neveah’s arms and escaped the embarrassing attention. They walked around and find a nearby bench at the nearby park.
The park was beautiful and a large pond was sitting at the center of it. Lucas and Neveah sat down on the bench with a sigh. “Remind me not to talk to you again,” Lucas panted as he groan feeling a little relaxed that they could rest for a minute. “Uriel is one of the Archangels” He heard Neveah muttered beside him. He glance at the said girl and saw her scrolling through her phone looking for something that can cure her curiosity about the said name. “An archangel.” She finished her sentence. Lucas leaned into her and read the text on her phone. “Archangel Uriel is known as the angel of wisdom. Uriel means “God is my light” or "fire of God." As Lucas finished his sentence both Neveah and him, look into each other’s eyes. “Bright white flames!” Both said in unison. “That what you said earlier!” Lucas exclaimed and Neveah nod. “That’s what I saw earlier!” She said her smile was wide. She was like a detective successfully getting a clue to solve a crime. But suddenly her facial expression went in to frown.
“An archangel? What is that do with the necklace itself?” Neveah asked Lucas and the said guy just gave him a blank stare. “Have you forgotten what Arash’s said?” He said while pinching Neveah’s ears. “ White knights are powerful beings that are known for being justified they are also called--we humans called them, Angels,” Lucas said. Neveah stared at him and then at her necklace. “So it means--wait, Since this necklace called out to the woman, who might be, Uriel has connected to the archangel herself? I thought Uriel was a guy.” Lucas squints his eyes at Neveah’s comment. “Angels are unisex.” He replied with a monotone voice. Neveah decided to ignore her, sighed. “Then the owner might be an archangel?” She said, excitement in her voice. “Then that means if I could search every archangel known to man-kind I might be able to use this powerful weapon?” Neveah said. Lucas stared at her companion and recall the time when Damian said to Neveah about calling its name or she would never be able to use it. “I doubt that,” Lucas commented but as usual Neveah ignored his statement. The said girl search through her phone and read the text out loud for Lucas to hear. “ There are seven holy angels, known to mankind who watch and that often are considered the seven archangels: Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, Uriel, Saraqael, Raguel, and Remiel !” She shrieked as she felt excited at the familiar name on the search results. ‘She really Goglge it’ Lucas said with a dumbfound expression.
“So one of these names might be it's name!” Neveah said as he look at Lucas with sparkly eyes. Lucas look back at Neveah and sighed defeated. He don't have any energy to bring her excitement down not until he saw someone that didn’t expect him. “Get down!” He said as he push Neveah’s head. He stole a glance behind him. “What the heck are you doing?! My neck hurts---” Lucas covered Neeveah’s mouth to shush her up.
The said guy that Lucas saw was walking in the park with a nonchalant expression. “Loki?” He muttered under his breath. Neveah heard what he said and widen her eyes. “What?!” She reacted while forcibly shoving Lucas’s hands. The duck again when Loki looks in their direction. “Why is that Damian copy-cat here?!” Neveah asked still hiding. Lucas shrugged. She glanced at the said guy again and made sure that he was nowhere to be seen. “Let’s tell the others,” He said and Neveah nodded indicating that she agreed with him.
