Chapter 76: Clash between two towering males

Alya and Scarlet stood in the hall with a wrecked casino. All of the fallen personnel cleaned up the place. Scarlet was silent but there were many things on her mind. Alya approached her, “I already called them,” She said. At that time someone came, perfectly. “What the heck happened here?” A deep old man’s voice resonated throughout the entire hall and all of them present inside the casino panned their heads. Scarlet and Alya stood erect greeting him and his companions. All of the fallens then bowed at them. 

“Mabuz,” Scarlet said. The said man looked down at her and saw her disheveled appearance. “What happened here?” A snicker was then heard behind the old man. Scarlet and Alya widened their eyes when they saw a long curly-haired man appear behind Mabuz. “ Jaakobah?” Both of them said in unison. Both of them were surprised to see the 1st apostle in their presence. “This place is a wreck!” He commented, voice filled with amusement. Scarlet stopped herself from retorting the guy. “How awful, Scarlet,” A sultry voice then appeared. Deniers with Neo beside him. All of the fallens in the casino were flabbergasted as they witnessed in their own eyes the 3rd, 2nd, and 1st apostle with their leader all in one place. Scarlet locks eyes with her friend, Neo. The said guy gave him a reassuring smile.

Loki and his goons were helping the other fallens and all five of them were confused as to who were the people that arrived. Loki noticed a familiar guy and clicked his tongue. “Who are them?” Naki blurted out and a fall hit his head. “Newbie! Shut your mouth!” One of the fallen said. Naki rubbed the part that he hit. “What the?! I don't know them! You can’t blame me!” Naki retorted. “Silence the both of you,” An old man who was also a fallen warned them. It was the same fallen that Loki, Naki, and Alex met. “They’re the top 3 Apostles along with their head, Mabuz Dewin. Also known as the king’s apprentice.”  The old man said, Loki and his goons look at them. 

Back to the apostles. Scarlet bitterly scoff at Denneira’s statement. “I’m so sorry, dear however the people behind this are something unexpected you see,” She replied. Deniers did not like her tone one bit. “Unexpected? Who?” Mabuz was curious. “If that is so surprising, then I understand why you call us here,” Jaakobah commented.”Who is it?” He asked in a sinister manner that made Scarlet and Alya felt goosebumps. Alya secretly gulped. “ A girl,” She started and all four of them were dumbfounded. “ A very annoying one,” She growled. “Shes using a creature’s weapon,” She continued. “And then, the little demon that got away,” Scarlet look at Mabuz.

“LIttle demon? Isis’s student?” Mabuz said wanting to confirm. Scarlet nod. “What’s most surprising is,” All of them anticipated what she's gonna say, “ Former great sorceress’s descendant was here,” She informed and all of them widen their eyes at what he said. “What?!” Mabuz asked. “The descendant?” They heard as Jaakobah whispered to himself. “Not all that,” She continued and all of them were impatient at this point. “Of for goodness sake, Scarlet just tell us,” Deneira snapped. Scarlet laughed at her statement and look at her with a smirk, ‘ Deneira,” She called out to the woman and approached her, “It seems your firstborn is a naughty one,” She said to her face and Deneira’s expression was filled with confusion. “Firstborn?” Mabuz said. “What do you mean?” Deneira said with gritted teeth. No ounce of amused on her expression. “Your child, Deneira. He was here, fighting alongside the soon-to-be great sorcerer,” Scarlet ended her statement with a smile of satisfaction as she saw Denira widen her eyes at the mention of her son. “Son? You have a son, Deniera?” Jaakobah asked with a laugh. “Shut up, Jaakobah or I’ll kill you,” Deniera said to him. Jaakobah then playfully zips his mouth. Neo side-eyeing him.

“Scarlet is right,” Alya blurted out and Deniera’s glaRE bore into her. “Your son, Lucas Eastwood is here,” Alya said. The name that the said girl said made Deneira lose her grip on her staff but Neo was there to catch it. “It feels shitty, right, Deneira? My whole casino was ruined because of your son and his annoying friends,” Scarlet hissed at her. Deniera lost her temper as she grip Scarlet’s cheek in light of speed. Jaakobah witnessed the scene and smiled widely, excited about the turn of events. Alya and Neo slightly panic as they hear Scarlet choking. “Deniera, calm your temper and let go of her,” Mabuz said with a stern but Deneira wasn't listening. “Deniera,” With his last warning, Deneira finally let go of her and Scarlet fell down, coughing. “Scarlet,” They heard Alya say as she helps the said girl.

“I want to hear more about this Lucas Eastwood,” Mabuz said with a blank expression and Deniera snapped her attention to him. “Mabuz--” Deniera wasn’t able to say what she was about to say when Mabuz raised his palms to stop her. “ I want to hear all about it and Deniera doesn’t lose your cool on something so trivial, again,” He said and his expression was so serious that Deneira couldn't help but to oblige.

Meanwhile, the four, Larcade, Lucas, Damian, and Neveah vanish with the elementia and are teleported back to the creature realm. Arash and the others knew that if they got the elementia they would immediately teleport to a certain place in the realm. All of them were excited and they waited patiently for two days for the four. And when a spark came in and the barrier slowly vanishing all of them felt relieved to know that they did successfully complete their mission. A green spark came in before a swirling green appeared before them. Their smiles were wide. And then a light flashes and when they opened their eyes all four of them appeared. Their belongings were also there and Ashmit appeared in the air but Neveah was quick to catch the main coon. 

“Welcome ba-----” All of them were about to greet them with excitement but their voice fade as they saw all of their expression and the former great sorceress descendant conscious on Damian’s arm. There was a tense atmosphere between them.

“Now I know why you tag along,” Damian blurted out and Lucas looked at him with a  glare. Neveah, who was in the center, looked at both of them. “What?” Lucas hissed. “Because you are the enemy’s son,” Damian’s revelation made all creatures gasp in shock. “So the thing about your mother, was that all a lie?” Damian said. Neveah realized what was the demon doing, he was provoking Lucas for no apparent reason. “I was also shocked as you, bastard,” Lucas leaned into him, his veins visible trying not to burst. Damian smirked, “You’re disgusting,” Damian uttered under his breath and Lucas finally snapped as he gripped his collar, “What the fck did you say?!” He growled and both of them were glaring at each other. “Hey!” Neveah can’t help but get in between them. She put the Maine coon down gently before approaching the two of them,  “Stop it! Both of you!” She shouted. “If you’re going to fight, put Larcade away first! You didn’t even notice him! I don’t care if you’re going to kill each other but have in mind, there are much bigger problems than your anger,” She said as she approached Damian. 

She noticed Teo who was standing there in silence, “Teo can you help me carry Larcade? I don’t want these idiots hurting him,” She said and Teo hurriedly went to her and removed Larcade from Damian’s grasp. “Fix yourself, I don’t want Larcade to see both of you in this state,” She growled at the both of them and followed Teo who decided to put Larcade in his room. All of the creatures who get the gist of the situation awkwardly scattered away not wanting to be part of the tension. Arash, Kion, and Holda we’re the only ones left. Arash approached the two who were stills standing there. He sighed when he arrived in front of the two tall males, “Let’s talk shall we?” He said with a gentle voice.

At the Casino, Loki hissed at the pain on his body. He recalled the moments he was fighting Neveah. Neveah said something unexpected that really bothered Loki. “You okay?” A deep voice appeared before him. Loki flinches at this and looks at the man that was towering over him. Silver hair and his purple eyes bore into him. He furrowed his brows when he realized who it was. He scoot backward, “Yes, sir,” Neo tilt his head when he heard the word, sir. He did not like it one bit. “Neo,” Loki looked at him, “What?” He said in bewilderment. “Call me Loki,” He said. He then wrapped his arms around Loki’s waist. The said guy immediately creates a distance as he put both of his palms on his chest. Loki stared at his disheveled appearance, “Did Deneira’s son hurt you?” He muttered while he touch Loki’s hair. ‘Who the f**k is Deniera?” He thought as he tried to push the guy off. “No, and who the heck is that?” Neo was shocked at this question that he stared at Loki with goggle eyes while he tilted his head. And Neo finds that he looks like a puppy. “What?” Neo then laughed. Loki was surprised to see him change his expression. ‘Damn, he’s more handsome when he smiles--Wait what?’ He scolds himself for what he just thinks. Neo then regained himself, “I heard his name was Lucas Eastwood,” However Loki did not know their names except for Damian and Neveah so he was having trouble if the Lucas guy was the tall one or the shorter one, “You don't know him?” Neo asked and Loki shook his head. His action made Neo hug him tight, ‘He’ so cute’ He thought not daring to say it aloud. 

“So who did this to you?” He asked while still embracing the guy. “A girl,” Loki replied. “Oh, you lost to a girl?” He was amused and Loki felt his shoulders shake. Loki rolled his eyes at this. Suddenly a clap was heard coming at them. Neo removed himself from Loki and saw Jaakobah with an amused and wide grin, His clap was slow. The moment he stopped clapping he was in front of Neo and Loki.
