“Oh, sorry I didn’t know that you’re such a missy.” Neveah covered her mouth, mocking Lucas. Lucas stared at her for a second before flipping her off and then the next few minutes they ran around the neighborhood trying to kill each other. Larcade and Damian decided to ignore them. After their dog-and-cat fight, they decided to part ways for them to pack their things.  Damian who was tasked by Neveah was waiting outside of Lucas’ house beside the car that they will use to drive. Damian stands there not knowing what to do, the Maine coon sitting beside him, accompanying the lonely demon. Suddenly a sharp pain on his head made him wince.  Holding his head and leaning into the car he tried his best to stand up, Ashmit the white cat jumped at his action staring at him worried. Lucas went out of the house with his luggage saw Damian in pain. Lucas run to him panicked.  “Dude, you okay?”  Lucas touch Damian’s back worried. Damian panned his head to Lucas when he noticed him. Lucas slightly lean away when he saw a small glint of purple in Damian’s eyes.  “Yes, it’s just a random headache.” Damian dismissed him, regaining his composure. Lucas paused for a second before shaking his head.  Larcade packed the necessities he needed for his trip. Just a piece of small luggage, enough for all of the things he needed. Larcade took notice of the things that were scattered on his desk, they were all the things that he found in the attic, the random box that he decided to bring.  ‘If I didn’t been so curious, I wouldn’t be here packing for an unknown journey that I’m afraid to take.’ Larcade sighed for the nth time. But no matter how he thought and felt regret, he can’t do anything. If he wanted to resolve this and live as a normal 20 years old then he needs to risk small things to be able to reach it. Larcade decided to include the books and the photobooks that he has shown to Damian, thinking that it might help in the future. Larcade’s eyes caught the journal that was also lying on his desk. Picking it up he tried to examine it, ‘I haven’t let Damian see this.’ He flips the journal open but to his surprise, nothing was written in the old book. Baffled about it, he tried to pay it no mind and leave it be. His eyes panned next to the cassette. He gulps his saliva when he remembered the dream.  Glaring at it because of some bitter memories he decided to also leave it, thinking that it might be irrelevant to bring it. Larcade checks everything before going outside. He bid his goodbyes to both of his parents. He also wanted to bid goodbye to his brother but to his disappointment, he was nowhere to be found. Larcade left the house heading to the Eastwood’s front yard where the car that they’ll use was parked. He saw the three of them, Neveah and Lucas bickering and Damian who stand between them with a done expression. Neveah noticed her cousin and waved at him. Feeling excited about their trip. They put everything they need, camping tools, tents and everything that they bought in the car. They felt a huge sense of relief when all of it was fit in the car. The Maine coon was already inside taking a spot in the back seat.  “I just hope that It wouldn’t take us days to find the creatures,” Neveah stated leaning her back to the car. “I hope so too, but since creatures are good in hiding, I bet It would take more than just a day,” Damian said with a serious face, crossing his arms.  “That’s why we should not waste time, now that there are fallens who wanted to hunt me, they wouldn’t stop and they would do anything to capture me,” Damian informed the three in which they gulped because of what he said.  “I was curious since yesterday night.” A sudden voice that came behind the bushes was heard. Neveah jumped and cling unto Lucas, “Did the bushes just talk?” Neveah said her voice trembling as she points unto the bushes.  Lucas facepalmed, removing Neveah's hands that were wrapping around his shoulders. A boy popped up in the bushes that made them lightly jump. “So, is this what the so-called-camping was all about? Finding the creatures?” He walked approaching the four who were frozen in their place.  “So, what are creatures? Care to explain, big brother?” The boy grinned with amusement but somehow the four of them saw the evilness in his face, all of them gulped, feeling that they were caught on something that they didn’t even do. “Care to explain, big brother?” He grinned looking at his older brother. “Calypso,” Larcade said with a stern voice, his eyebrows clashed. Calypso chuckled before shrugging his shoulder. “I’m just curious.” He said crossing his arms. For a thirteen years old boy he emits a sense of danger with just only his presence as what they feel right now. They didn’t know what to do and it seems like Calypso won’t let them get away with just an excuse. Larcade knew that his brother isn’t stupid, hell he even knew that his brother is into everything that made him amused or excited. Calypso has this tendency where he goes kind of psychotic when he found something that made him feel excited.  And, it seems the four of them would be his current target. Calypso stands there with a smile waiting for them to say anything. “Last time I heard you fighting. It was so annoying.” Calypso said his face turned serious.  “However, I didn’t expect that I heard something unusual or more like something controversial,” Calypso grinned after he said that. ‘What a bipolar shit.’ Lucas stared at Calypso, horrified. “It’s something along the line of,” Calypso pouted, acting that he was thinking. “The twelve apostles?” Calypso giggles seeing their reactions. “What are you talking about?” Larcade tried to say it casually but he was panicking inside, his palms are sweaty. Glancing at others for help. “Yeah, I didn’t know you’re such a devotee.” Neveah laughed awkwardly. Calypso's expression changed into a blank one.  “Then, how ‘bout, The Great Sorcerer? Surely you won’t have an excuse for this big brother, since you were the one, I was talking about.” Larcade gulped when Calypso’s stares bore into him. Lucas and Neveah's mouths gape open when they hear it, Damian’s eyes widen. Calypso backed away, putting his hand into his pocket. All of them froze not knowing what to do. Suddenly Neveah cling onto Damian’s arms that making Damian feel disgusted, he pulled away but Neveah clung to him again with force, “Damian, quick! Erase his memories!” Neveah said pointing to Calypso.  “Huh?!” Damian stated in disbelief.  “Wait—He can do that?” Larcade asked, amused but also worried for his brother’s welfare.  “Well, we don’t know what to do and basically he’s a supernatural being with powers so plainly he can do anything,” Lucas said panicky.  “Woah~ That’s so cool!” Calypso said, glimmer in his eyes.  “I know right!” Neveah said also excited because of Calypso’s reaction. Lucas looks at her confused. “Anyways, what are you waiting for, Damian? Bipidi-bopidi-boo him!” Neveah continued feeling embarrassed before regaining her composure. “I can’t!” Damian removes Neveah’s hands again, backing away from her.  “What do you mean you can’t?” Lucas asked, puzzled.  “If I do It will take a toll on his body, my power isn’t that powerful to tamper a human’s memories. The result would be horrifying.” Damian informed them. All of them shut their mouth because of that. ‘This is not a choice that we should take.’ Larcade thought, feeling anxious for his brother.  “You don’t have to do that.” Calypso suddenly said making their attention focus on him. “I won’t tell anyone,” Calypso said with a smile. The four of them stare at him squinting their eyes, feeling suspicious. “Don’t make that face,” Calypso said annoyed rolling his eyes. “How do we know if you really keep your mouth shut?” Damian said his eyes shining in vibrant yellow. Larcade panics because of it, wondering what would Damian do to his brother, he steps up in Infront of Calypso shielding him. “You have his word. He would never tell anyone.” Larcade glared at Damian, his eyebrows clashed. Larcade’s eyes have a green hue swirling, appearing in his irises. Neveah, Damian, and Lucas were surprised. “Larcade, your eyes—” Neveah hesitate, pointing to Larcade’s face. Larcade blinks and the green hue vanishes.  “What about my eyes?” Larcade asked, confused. The three of them glanced at each other, “Nothing.” Larcade raised his eyebrows.  “Isn’t this a perfect time to talk about eyes?” Calypso said sarcastically behind Larcade with a deadpan expression. “Anyways, I promise to you, shiny eyes, I would not do anything so foolish, especially that my brother is the main topic and it seems my i***t of a cousin is also involved.”  Neveah clasped her chest, looking at Calypso with loving eyes. She was moved when Calypso added her to his worries. Calypso stared at her with disgust, looking at her up and down. “You heard him,” Larcade said to Damian. They both glared at each other. Lucas sighed again sensing the tension between the two.  “I would not do anything to him in the first place. I’m just warning him.” Damian said looking away, giving up. Larcade pursed his lips.  “Lar, It’s fine.” Calypso grabbed his brother’s arms.  “Well, I gotta go. I just wanted to say good luck with your journey.” Calypso smiled before walking away.  “Oh, and a little advice from your younger brother," Calypso halted glancing at Larcade.  “Don’t do anything stupid.” Those were the last words he uttered before completely walking away. “For a second there,” Neveah said after a moment of silence. “I think he looks cool.”  Lucas scoffed not wanting to admit it. ‘what a weird younger brother.’ He thought. “Lucas!” A voice shouted from the distance, their attention panned to the boy running over them. Lucas was surprised when he sees his younger brother, Claude. Neveah was awed when she saw him.  “Claude? Where were you?” Lucas said worry laced in his voice when Claude stop in front of him. Claude took his time, panting heavily before looking at his older brother.  “Lucas, can you give me some change? I want to eat Ice cream.” Claude smiled. Neveah and the others stifle a laugh. Lucas felt his world crumble he thought that his brother was saying goodbye to him just like Calypso did to Larcade but in the end, he just wants some money to buy a dessert.  “You damn brat! I thought you were saying goodbye to me.” Lucas bonks his brother’s head lightly.  “Goodbye? Where you off to?” Claude asked glancing behind his brother.  Claude sees the three and then he glances to the car that was now packed with their materials.  “Wait—you’re going today?” Claude asked shocked to which Lucas nod.  “I thought you’re going tomorrow.” Claude tilts his head.  “No, it’s just we don’t want to waste time, that’s all,” Lucas explained while Claude look at him with suspicion.  “Okay, then I bid you goodbye and be safe.” Claude smiled at his brother in which Lucas teared up because of his cuteness. ‘How can a 13-year-old boy be so cute.’ Lucas thought. ‘This guy has definitely had a brother complex.’ The remaining three thought looking at Lucas with a blank expression.  “Anyways, I’m going to Dad for some change, bye!” Claude runoff headed to the door. ‘He just left him.’ Neveah, Larcade, and Damian thought with a mouth gape open.  ‘Poor guy.’
