Chapter 70: Fight to the finish

“What is the meaning of this?!” A woman's voice resonated in the hall. Larcade and Damian looked at her. Scarlet-haired, blue-glowing eyes that glared bore into Damian. “What is a demon doing in my grounds?” She growled as her aura seeped out through her. Larcade widened his eyes. “Well, well, the host is here,” Damian smirked, amused plastered on his face.

"tsk," Scarlet clicked her tongue. " Now, tell me demon, who are you and why are you doing this?" Scarlet asked. Damian scoffed at her, which made Larcade have an urge to smack his head. "Well you see, I got bored." Damian shrugged and Larcade looked at him horrified. Scarlet had her scowl and her brows furrowed. " And for the question who am I," Damian smirked and his golden aura boomed into the entire hall. Scarlet raised her arms to protect herself because of the immense power Damian showed. Larcade also did the same, everyone in the hall did. Larcade peeked at him when he was done. He saw the familiar ram horns placed on each side of Damian's dirty blonde locks. The said guy smirks in the direction of Scarlet. His eyes were tinted in a gold-colored glow as he stared in Scarlet's direction with a smirk of amusement.

Larcade gave his companion a side-eye. " This is one way to cause a scene," Larcade muttered under his breath. Damian smickered, " That's right. I'll distract them and you'll get the elementia," he said as he took a step forward. "What?!" Larcade was about to retort. But Damian was already walking towards them. Larcade looked at the chandelier.' Are we really sure that it's the elementia? Ugh whatever ' he thought. Scarlet glared at the approaching Damian. " You?!" She growled. " Isis's student," She said, a voice filled with resentment. " Glad you remember me," Damian said as he smiled. This made Scarlet annoyed. Larcade steals a glance at them ' He really knows how to push the buttons of his enemy,' Larcade thought. 

Meanwhile, Neveah and Lucas stand their backs at each other as they let their guard up. Loki and his goons are circling them."Now, what are we gonna do?" Neveah asked. Loki approached them, " Where's that demon guy? He's the one I'm looking for, I always keep him on my mind, "Loki asked. Neveah scoffed before answering, " Aww, that's so sweet. Too bad, he did not even think of you after we parted ways," Neveah pouted, mocking him. "I wanna beat this b***h!" Ava exclaimed.  Neveah panned her head at her. " Now that's good. I also wanted to show off too,' she said after removing her blue wig. Her hair swayed as she fixed her hair. " What? We're going to fight them? Just the two of us?" Lucas whispered to her. "What? You're gonna wait for them? Larcade and Damian are busy with their own business. We can't drag them here," Neveah snapped. Lucas exhaled. "And, besides, we need to let them show the result of our hell-ass training."She said as she grabbed a keychain that looked like an ax.  Naki and the others except for the twins and Loki laughed at it. "Sorry to burst your bubbles princess, but that's a keychain," Naki said in between chuckles.

Neveah snickered at him, " Honey, please don't assume that attitude will surely lead you to your doom," She said as the key chain glowed white and it transformed into a battle ax. Naki shut his mouth at this. Neveah grinned at his reaction. It made her feel satisfied. Lucas rolled his eyes at this. " Now let's get this party started," she said with a grin, and then approached the person right in front of her. She swung her ax at him but Loki immediately ducked, avoiding the sharp ax of hers. " Ohohoho Nice!" She commented. She was about to swing it back at him but his ax was held by Alexander. "Hi, it's been a while" Alex greeted her. This made Neveah look at him in disgust. She pulled her ax but to no avail, Alex was far stronger than her. She noticed Loki was ready to attack her, so she turned around and successfully kicked Loki in the gut. Loli went flying. She then turned to Alex, who was currently holding her ax. She then ran to him and kicked him multiple times as if she was walking on his body. Neveah tumbles, still holding his ax. Because of what she did, Alex's grip on her ax was lost and was thrown away. 

Suddenly, she was choked by Ava on the back. Neveah tried to remove her arms but she was having a hard time. She then had an idea. She leaned her head forward and forcefully hit Ava's face as she leaned her head backward. Ava went stumbling, holding her bloodied nose."Ahh! My nose!" She panicked. "You're better than I thought," Loki commented. Because of his statement, Neveah unconsciously thought of an American series that had this familiar dialogue. She smirked at him, "And you are entirely average." Neveah replied. Loki scoffed at her, but no, lack of amusement was in his expression.  The entire time Neveah was fighting them, Lucas just stood up there not knowing whether he'd join in or Nah? Suddenly, something ominous was felt at his side and when he snapped his head, he saw Naki dashing up to him with an elastic whip coming straight into Lucas. He was about to move when an invisible force made him paste his foot onto the ground and he noticed the twins staring at him. ‘What the?’ He squirmed on his spot but to no avail, he was planted. 

Unfortunately, Lucas was able to dodge his whip. When he saw it pass by his face, he quickly grasped it. Naki was stunned to speak as he tried pulling his whip but to no avail, Lucas had his grip tighten on it. “ Bad move,” He smirked and suddenly a spark came into Lucas’s hands and then drew a fire. Naki widened his eyes at this. “What the hell?!” He panicked as he felt his whip burning. Naki, who felt the burning sensation on his whip, created another whip in his other hand. His other whip made Lucas distracted and he lost his grip on the one he was holding. Naki backed out. “What the hell is this guy’s power?!” He shouted. Lucas smirked at his reaction.

He then noticed the twins still staring at him, a call that gave him the creeps. “Neveah!” He called out. Neveah, who was busy fighting, Loki, Alex, and Ava, was annoyed by Lucas. “What?!” She shouted as she successfully dodged Ava’s whip and cut it with her ax. “ Warning, this place might get a little hot,” he said. This made Neveah halt in confusion, but he quickly regained his composure when Alexander aimed at her the metallic weapon that he had produced in his left hand. Lucas, who takes her silence as an agreement, produces an amount of heat in the room. “Lucas! What the heck?! It’s literal hell in here!” She shouted as she leaned away, bumping her back into Lucas’s. “Trust me,” he said with a smirk, and then a ring of fire surrounded them. All of them, Loki and his goons stop as they realize they can't get to both of them. Lucas smirked. “Now, let me take care of this,” He grunted and fire came straight at the twins, which made them lose their focus on Lucas and the said guy was able to move. He then immediately caged the two in a box made out of the fire and, let me tell you, inside that box feels like an oven. “ You’re smarter than I thought,” Neveah commented. Lucas looked at her and gave her a smug smile, “And, you are entirely average,” Lucas said, copying Neveah’s words. 

Meanwhile, Larcade looked at his surroundings and decided to get on top of the pool table. He saw  Damian and Scarlet conversing. Suddenly, a blue magical beam shot to his side. He was lucky since it was just an inch away from him. Larcade froze in his spot. Damian glared at the woman in front of him. " Stand down or I will kill that human."She warned. Damian scoffed. "Heard that Larcade, she said she would kill you," Damian called out to the said guy. " I am deeply aware of that!" Larcade shouted back. "So we should deal with her before she can kill you, after all, you are a dear person to me," Damian said as he let his claws out. Seeing Damian in his demon form made Scarlet unleash her aura. A blue smoke surrounds the entire hall. Some guards and personnel that weren't humans also unleash their aura but are not as powerful as Scarlet's. Larcade felt his legs shake as the immense of different magic aura surrounded them. " Damian, good luck fighting them!" Larcade shouted. ". I can actually sense the sarcasm here!" Damian replied. 

The guards that surround them start to attack Larcade. The said guy jumped as he saw a guard trying to grab his legs. Larcade managed to dodge it and landed on his arms. The guard groaned because of this.  Larcadede gasped as he saw his painful expression. "Oh my, I am so sorry," he exclaimed and dodged when another guard tried to punch him. He then felt that he was on the edge of the pool table and drastically flapped his arms to not let himself lose his balance.  When he managed to steady himself, he laughed in a breathy manner, "Woah, that's close," he exclaimed. But later on, he saw a bat coming at him. He widened his eyes, he quickly took out a similar keychain that Neveah had. It was a green stick keychain. When the bat was about to hit him, the keychain transforms, emitting a green light. Larcade then blocked the bat with the stick, now a green spear. Larcade smiled as he recalled Kion, who suggested he use the spear.

When Kion took him as a student and because of the fact that he was not awakened yet, Kion gave him a spear that was one of the treasures of a creature who died in the last war. Larcade was overwhelmed and was about to deny it, but Kion insisted. Kion trash-talked him about Larcade, not knowing what to do with his power. He remembered what Kion said.

"Your power might be powerful because of the fact that you have not awakened and did not train over the years, it will take a toll on your body if you use it with force," he said with his deep voice. Kion led him to the weapon hall where Arash was waiting for them. " Larcade, you're here, Neveah already left a while ago, too bad you missed each other."  Arash greeted him. "Neveah?" He asked to confirm what he said and Arash nodded. All of them head inside the hall and Arash led him to a section of the place where a green spear that was designed with a different kind of cursive carved that was colored green. 

"This is one of the weapons our late comrade had. He perished protecting this realm. And, I believe you have the right to use this," Arash said. Larcade was shocked at his statement.  

 Larcade was broken in his train of memories when he saw the guard widen his eyes. He was surprised as he felt Larcade's green spear emit a powerful magic aura. Because of the aura of his Spear, the elementia responds to this. Damian looked at the chandelier. " Larcade your spear!" he shouted. Larcade anticipated but Damian did not finish what he'd say as Scarlet dashed at him and attacked him with sharp ice that came out on the ground.

Damian, who was alerted, managed to jump away from her ice. "That was close," he exhaled, but not a moment too soon, Scarlet did not waste any time attacking him. Damian, who had a golden shield in his hand, was able to block her ice. Scarlet groaned at this as she summoned multiple ices at the same time to him. Meanwhile, on the other side of the room, Larcade had managed to beat most of the guards with just his spear. Dodging some of their attacks and uses his spear to make them unconscious. Larcade was winning the game and when he found an opportunity he raised his spear ready to hit the chandelier to break it, but when he threw his spear, a pink elastic light whip grabbed his spear.  Larcade widens his eyes at this. He saw his spear that was held by the elastic whip move in the direction of someone. There Alya stood with a smile, Larcade's spear was now in her hand. 

" This is burdensome," Larcade heard her say, and after that, he heard a crack. His eyes widened in horror.
