2384 Words
Both Damian and Neveah glared at each other. The whole atmosphere was tense and both of them look like characters from an action manga. Both of them didn’t talk but they both knew that if they did it would never end well. Arash stands between them with a worried look. “Now, now, we’re here to say our apologies and feelings,” Arash put both of his hands on each other’s shoulders but the two did not flinch no react they were preoccupied with glaring and cursing each other on their thoughts.  “Apologize? I don’t think he would ever do that! I don’t even imagine that he said an apology to someone all of his life!” Neveah crossed her arms. Damian scoffed at her remark, “That’s big coming from a narcissistic woman like yourself,” Damian retorts. Neveah look at him with surprise and gasp at what he said. She was offended. “Oh yeah? How bout you? You are an arrogant and a selfish bastard!” Both of them leaned against each other as they yelled giving insults. Arash did not know how to stop them. Both of them were a lot too handled. Larcade, Lucas, Teo, and Kion were under the tree. Chilling under the shade. All four of them stare at the commotion at the center of the training grounds caused by the two. “Can I ask why are they there?” Larcade said, pointing at the three of them while tilting his head. “They’re just tiring themselves,” Lucas commented. All of them heard every insult Damian and Neveah threw at each other. “Both of them look like an old married couple wanting a divorse and Arash is a lawyer,” Larcade said with a chuckle. “Well, their nonsensual fight would take a while,” Kion stood up and walk to Larcade, “I will train you for the time being,” Larcade stopped a what he announced. He recalls the light argument they had yesterday. “Huh?” Larcade thought that it would be so awkward but he also know that he said something wrong. So even though he doesn't want to be in that position he would grab this opportunity to formerly apologize to the criosphinx. “If you don't want to then suit yourself,” Kion was about to walk away when Larcade called out to him, “No!” Kion stopped and look behind him. “I would gladly accept you to be my trainer,” He said with a smile. Lion scoffed at his expression, “Im not asking,” He said while walking away. “Don’t fall behind, come with me,” Kion said and Larcade immediately followed the criosphinx. Lucas and Teo stared at the two. Part of Lucas felt relieved because for the past training Kion did not help him to get better. ‘It’s obvious that he wanted this chance, this damn ram head,’ He cursred while glaring at the walking criosphinx. “How ‘bout you?” He slightly flinched and look to the dullahan beside him. Reminded that his head was not on his neck he look down at his hand.  “Kion obviously left you behind,” Teo said with an awkward chuckled. “Yeah, no s**t,”  “And, it’s obvious that the old married couple would still be fighting, how bout I’ll be the one replacing Kion?” Teo asked as he scratched his head. Embarrassed and shy. Lucas looks at him for a mere second and then, "Hell yeah!” Teo’s head flinched at the sudden loud voice that came from Lucas's mouth. Teo then chuckled at his enthusiastic nature, “Though I’m not really good at fire attribution I would gladly help you control them. I have some knowledge about controlling them.” Teo said walking away finding a good spot to practice. “Fire is very dangerous if not controlled. It can easily spread and eat everything on its path. Fire can consume structures and trees and can severely injure or kill living beings through burns or smoke inhalation.” Teo said while Lucas walk beside him listening intently.  “ So you first need to control your fire,” Teo recalls the conversation he had with Arash. It was about Lucas’s fire power. Arash was confused at the elemental attribute that he had. Because of this, he had a sudden urge to research after pin-pointing the elementia. Teo was shocked when Arash told him a theory about the young man’s power. It surprised Teo but he decided not to blurt it out. He woul eventually wait for Arash to tell the young man. The theory that Arash’s said was complicated to bring up, that both creatures decided to just wait for it. Both of them, Lucas and Teo look for a spot to train. Meanwhile, Arash was still having trouble fusing the two together. “Okay--” “You s**t! You never had an ounce of respect for my cousin!” Neveah shouted while pointing at Damian. “Wait a minute--” “You imbecile! Your lack of self-awareness makes you not suitable for the white knight’s remnants!” Damian scoffed before saying it.  “I have enough of this!” Arash suddenly shouted that made both of them shut their mouths, scared. They panned their heads slowly at the raging creature between them. Both of them did not know what do as an ominous foreboding  was felt. Damian and Neveah did not know what to do but to look down at the ground avoiding Arashs’s glares. A red aura came appearing behind Arash as both of them gulp their fear. “Didn’t I tell you to stop?” Arash’s voice was hoarse and both of them did not like it. His color red aura makes it more horrifying. Arash noticed their silence. He retracts his aura and placed his hands again on their shoulders. “If you do not reconcile until the day ends let’s see how the outcome of your journey will unfold,” Arash’s last words hit the two deep as he walks away. “Oh hello, Arash! I see you've already finished your job?” Holda greeted the big creature when she saw him passing by. Arash stops, “Greetings Holda. Yes, I did.” Holda noticed something on Arash's expressions. “Is something bothering you Arash? You seem tired?” The small creature gave Arash a cup of water hoping that it might cool him down. “Thank you,” Arash gladly accepts it. “I just had some trouble handling Neveah and Damian. I didn’t know Damian could act like that,” Arash said with a sigh that made Holda chuckled. She did hear about when Damian lashed out. “Oh, you just need to leave them alone for a while, it's hard to cease down a lover's quarrel.”What holda said made Arash snap his head. “What?”He asked with a surprised look. “Lovers? Quarrel?” Holda stifled a laughed at Arash’s expression. He look horrified but also somehow curious.  Both of them stared a this back. Arash’s heartbeat was pounding hard when he walked away. He didn't even imagine lashing out the two but he couldn’t help it. Dealing with kids like them made Arash’s lifespan decreases. He sighed wondering if he was cool walking away and leaving the two behind. After Arash left both Neveah and Damian sat in the grass. “This was all your fault,” Neveah said that making Damian snap his head to her direction, “Huh?!” He shouted that made Neveah cover both of her ears. “Geez, what a terrible reaction. What I said was true though. What do you have against me that you are objecting about Eden’s choice!” Neveah shouted and pointed at the passing pegasus. It stopped when she realized that she was now involved of their topic. “Are you disrespecting her? Is that it?” Neveah made her voice loud and clear that it was Damian’s turn to cover his ears.  “I’m not disrespecting it. I'm shocked and surprised and maybe telling her that it may be her own delusion!” Damian also raised his voice. “Delusion? You arrogant bastard! You're the delusional one!” Both of them huffed. Their throats were now hurting because of their shouting. “I have no intention to prove myself to you,” Neveah said with a serious voice. “All i can say to you is that I am willing prepared to be the white knight’s suitable candidate, heir, descendant, or successor. And, I am willingly risk my life just to accompany my cousin on his new life as the great sorcerer. If you do not like it then I have no obligation to make myself an embarrassment just to persuade you,” Neveah look at Damian.  The said guy was shook to see Neveah this serious on the days they spent together. Yes, he may have seen her panic but it was a sight to see her this serious. “Whether you dislike it or not I will be the suitable candidate to inherit the white knight's remnants,” She stood up while saying this. His blue hair sways as the wind blows through them. And, It made Damian stare at her and wonder how far would she go just to be with her cousin. Damian also stood up facing her, “Then is it your own decision?” What Damian uttered made Neveah halt for a minute. Damian anticipated for her answers.  “Yes. It is my own decision not Larcade’s nor Lucas or even yours. I’ll decide my own fate and I decided to choose this fate.” Neveah said after some seconds passed by. She touches the white knight’s sword on her neck. “Even if you give up your identity as a human?” Damian questioned. Neveah looks at his golden eyes. Her stares were filled with determination that made Damian slightly move. “ I am still a human no matter what choice I’ll make.” Neveah then turned his back to face him. But before she could walk away she stole a glance first at Damian. “So suck it up, Demon boy.” She said with a smirk and an expression saying that ‘bleh~ you can’t do anything sucker!’ It made Damian’s eyes twitch with annoyance.  After their fight they continue their days training and making themselves stronger. All of them had the same thought on their minds, to defeat the apostles. Larcade huffed as Kion watch intently. Kion suggested a new form of fighting that is suitable for Larcade who hasn't awakened yet. Lucas’s sweat dripped down to his face as he chase his breath. Teo was standing infront of him with a proud face. Neveah found a new instructor since hers bailed on her. It was  a stong centaur that focuses on sword fighting. Damian also doesn't want to be left behind trained and polish his skills again. He was still bitter on the fact that Loki was able to nullify and escaped his powers. With the thought that he would eradicate his replica, he trains hard. Two days have passed. Six days until the red eclipse will reappear. Four misfits with their giant cat walked towards the entrance of the realm. Arash walked behind them with Teo, Holda, and Kion. All of them had the camping supplies that they used just two times. All of them were ready to go and all of them were not the same as they fist went into the realm. They find new knowledge. New power and strength. And, New will and goals. Both of them had their smiles as Arash and the others guide them to the entrance of the realm. “So we will see you again after a few days,” Teo started. “Don’t miss us too much!” Neveah joked. “Well, I certainly hope that you can be able to call out its name,” Teo said to Neveah with a smile and she replied with a grin. “Don’t you worry! I promised to myself that if i do i will show it off to this bastard right here!” She said as she pointed to Damian who was standing beside her. The said guy sighed as he heard the name bastard. “Damian, Neveah,” Arash calle dout to the bofth of them. “Please don’t fight too much. A boy and a girl in relationship who don’t have any mutual understanding will eventually break off.”  Arash said with a sincere voice as he hold each of their hands. Neveah and Damian widen their eyes and froze at what he said. ‘In a relationship?’ Both of them thought at the same time. They had a horrified look on them.  “What the actual fu----” Before Neveah could finish her sentence she was grabbed by Lucas. “We have to go now, Bye!” He said as he pulled Neveah. They exited where they entered and then vanished. Damian was still frozen at the spot. ‘In a relationship with her? What does that mean?’ He thought while standing still. Lartcade noticed him and chuckled. “We greatly appreciate your hospitality.” Larcade look at the creature in front of him. “Anything for you Succesor!” Teo said with a grin. “And, I would never forget all of your words. Thank you for making me realize.” Larcade did a 90 degrees bow. He then focus his attention on Holda and crouched down. “Thank you, Holda.” He said with a smile and Holda can't help but pat the boy's head.  “We’re heading out now. We will see you soon!” Larcade bid his farewell and wave them goodbye. Damian did a bow with his thanks and join Larcade to exit the realm. Arash and the others also wave goodbye. When they vanished all of them stared at the portal. Suddenly a loud bell was heard at the large tree. Arash looks at it for a second and then shouted. “Breakfast is ready!” And all of them scurried away.
