Getting into the vibe of the party, we all settle in what I would assume is the VIP section; I find it weird to even consider being in a VIP section at a college l party; yet I'm no fool. Yes, I know all about what these guys actually do, why their all so respected and feared, also the very important part they each hold in the underworld.

My parents, 'God rest their souls' tried their very best to keep me away this lifestyle. They thought me how to make a honest living, how hard work should always pay off, yet here I am. I'm living proof that living a honest life means noting if you're not safe, if your not feared or respect. My parents worked their asses off to provide for our family, I would say we lived a comfortable life, had all we needed and every now and then could even afford a little something we wanted. Yeah they worked hard, yet what did they get for all that hard work? Hard work that should always pay off? A bullet to the head and their one and only child left alone in this world. They didn't deserve the ending they received, but that's life for you.

Now I'm sitting in the heart of the circle, and I should be scared but for the first time in forever I feel safe, like I'm at home, like no one can hurt me. It's crazy, I know but it's also the truth. It feels like I never left.

"Lexi!" I'm brought back to the present by a very amused April.

"Your not still drooling over the twins, are you?"

I respond by hitting her on the arm.

"Ouch, that hurt." she screeched.

"I was thinking about how nice it feels to be back, for the first time in months there's a little bit of happiness inside me. It's not all empty anymore, I'm not alone anymore".

"You were never alone, Vixen". whispered Cade from behind me.

I hadn't notice I'd gathered all their attention.

Feeling a little embarrassed, I give a shy smile while playing with my fingers. The moment is quickly broken by that annoying voice again, " give me strength", I murmur.

"What do you mean I can't see Cade?" Courtney snarls at a very annoyed looking Mateo.

Just the sound of his name coming from her mouth has my hackles raising. I sneak a glance over at Cade only to find him focused on his phone; it's as if Courtney isn't even there, I know he can hear her, we all can but he doesn't give any indication he can. As if feeling my gaze, his eyes meet mine and for a moment I'm frozen in time. All too soon Courtney's voice tortures my ears again.

"Tell him I'm here, he'll tell you to let me through" she whines.

Sighing in annoyance I end whatever connection we had by looking away. Cade didn't seem to like that response very much, it took him less that a minute to make his way over, taking hold of my waist on both sides before lifting me from my position on the sofa and taking my place, after which seats me on his thighs. Now satisfied Cade then makes a sign to Mateo, who with a look of both frustration and annoyance allows Courtney to pass. This made me tense, not only was I sitting on Cade, who I haven't really said a word to after reintroductions but now his little slut will think this is a competition; not that I don't like the little circles he's tracing on my thigh using his finger tips. Courtney all too soon approaches with wary eyes, as her gaze shifts to me there's an unmistakable look of disgust marring her face; this has me really relaxing in Cade's hold, taking hold of his left arm, securing it around my waist to bring his hand into view so I can trace my own intricate design. I don't miss the look of satisfaction on the twins faces as Sage slides in beside us lifting both my legs before placing them on his thighs. His gesture seem to have horns sprouting out on Courtney's sidekick's fake blonde head, no surprise there I guess.

"Hmmm, interesting", I muse lacing my voice with fake annoyance before throwing a dirty look Sage's way. Goose bumps cover my body as he casually rest his left hand on my bare skin, joining the shivers already coursing through me, as I feel the unmistakable pressure of Cade's d**k stirring awake under me. I shift slightly pressing my legs together to contain the wetness coating my now ruined underwear, trying my hardest to fight the heat settling in the bottom of my belly. Leaning forward allowing his chest to press firmly into my back, Cade's slowly traces his tongue over my ear lobes running his nose along the back of my ear before huskily whispering,

"If you can't keep this sweet ass of yours still, I'm more than willing to take you right here Vixen". After placing a small kiss on my neck, satisfied, he then relaxes back in his seat. I sneak a glance at Sage, not surprised to find him already looking at me, with a wink Sage trains his focus back on the matter at hand; both girls are now standing Infront of us and from the looks on both their faces they're anything but happy.

"Are you just going to stand there watching? Or is there a reason you had the balls to demand our attention?" Sage snarls in a voice so menacing I'm taken aback for a bit.

" Courtney and I just thought we'd check in, maybe see if there was anything else we could help you both with" it was Minnie who responded.

It was hard to miss the suggestion behind her words, this pissed me off, she had some nerve; I didn't like that she was insinuating their presence would still be needed even after witnessing our position on the couch, so before either guy could reply I took it upon myself to straighten out whatever was getting ready to start here. I would think from the actions of the twins, there was surely going to be something between us; they have never been shy when it came to taking what they wanted so I why should I?

"Why would they need anything from you? It seems to me that they're more than satisfied, but why not ask? they're sitting right here after all. With that said I give my full attention to the twins, waiting for them to choose.

I feel Cade's grip tighten before relaxing back in place but it's once again Sage who addresses our audience.

"We have no need and will never need whatever it is you have to offer, f**k we didn't even want what was being offered, just a mouth to f**k nothing more".

"You can't mean that", Minnie all but shouted.

" I can't believe you're willing to lose us for this cow, she's so fa", she didn't get to finish what she was going to say, all her words died in her throat at the knife that was being firmly pressed to her pulse. It was eire silent around us, as Mateo who hadn't said a word stood waiting for the command.

Cade who had been quiet the entire time, lifted his gaze to meet both girls frightened expression before he challenged.

" I dare you to finish that statement".

There was no questions if his statement was a threat considering the blade Mateo was holding to her throat.

" Thank God, something finally shut her up" said an amused April.

Courtney didn't retort, which was pretty smart of her; unfortunately for Minnie who seem to be taking dismissal pretty hard she didn't seem to catch the memo.

" You're f*****g with me right? You have to be f*****g with me! I just sucked your d**k, swallowed, while helping you relax now in walks this slut and now you don't need us?" she protested.

Not going to lie, her words feel like a dagger slicing through my heart, it's ridiculous, they're not even mine.

A loud smack echoed through our section as Minnie falls to the floor due to the force of April's slap.

"If anyone here's a slut b***h, it's you and the whores you call friends". April rages.

I on the other hand just lost all sense of comfort with the thought of their mouths anywhere on the twin's bodies; so with a little effort on my part I free myself from the twins hold and raise to my feet; so I can make my way over to April.

"It's ok Rils, they can continue whatever they had going on before I got here. Can we leave now please". I said as I made my way out of the group heading for the door not glancing back. It was all just too much for one night, thankfully April doesn't say anything as we head to her car and drive away.

Sage POV

We all watch as April gives Deon a quick kiss before following Lexi out of the house; when the girls disappears from view I turn my attention back to Minnie and Courtney who now held hopeful looks on their faces, well that was until they saw the look on Cade's. Cade always been the more brooding brother, making him mad doesn't end well for anyone. I can see that he's about to lose his shits, so promptly I take control of the situation.

"I'll say this once and won't repeat myself, you mean nothing and never will, you're no longer allowed anywhere near us and if you make any moves towards Lexi you'll answer to us. Giving them no time to answer I Signal for them to be dragged away.

"I've had enough, Let's go". Cade instructs standing from his position on the chair, with that we make our way out of the house to Cade's all black Maserati mc20, buckled in properly Cade floors it out through the gates and head towards our apartment. I can feel the tension radiating off him in waves, before I can talk myself down I reach over, placing my left hand on his upper thighs, I test the waters a little. Gently I squeeze to reassure him that everything will be ok. Easing off the gas a little, Cade takes hold of the hand that's still resting on his thigh giving it a little squeeze of his own. Cade has never been one for many words but his actions always speaks volumes. All too soon we're back home, heading up to our rooms.

"We'll get our girl", I finally say as we reach our doors.

" I have no doubt about that, I intend to get everything I want", replies Cade.

There's a fire in his eyes that tell me he's taking about more than he's willing to admit at the moment, so I don't question his statement, with a nod I turn around and open my door, as I'm about to step into the room, I sense movement behind me, then there it is, Cade's chest presses firmly against my back before a soft kiss is being placed on the side of my neck.

"Good night, mi amuleto de la suerte".

I shiver in delight but all too soon the heat is gone and Cade's bedroom door clicks close.

I make my way inside my own room desperately in need of a cold shower. 'What a night'.

I can't fight the smile that spread on my face as I relive that little moment, 'His Lucky Charm', that what he always calls me, I love when he speaks in spanish. I'm his Lucky Charm' and he's my Ace and now together we must capture our little vixen.
