I stare at him. Waited for him to burst out laughing and say he is joking. That he can't believe I almost fell for it. I stare at his eyes and saw no rumors of joke. Already knowing he isn't the type to joke. But, I just wanted this to not be true.
I turn down and cleared my throat.
"I'm sorry I....I don't think I heard you clearly." I said with a questioning look on my face. Jax lets out a sigh.
"I'm sorry he didn't tell you. But he left yesterday to the airport. I drove him to the airport myself." He said with honesty playing around his tone.
