I took out my book for the next period out of my locker before shutting it.
"Hey." I heard from behind me. I turned to meet Davina.
"Oh hey." I greet back. "Is there any problem?" I asked, curious what she's up to this time.
"Nothing. Just wanted to say..." She looks around before staring back at me. She lets out a sigh. "I'm sorry." I looked at her confused and lost but mostly shocked. She doesn't cease to amaze me. "I let Janine get to my head about you always forcing yourself on Asher before he travelled to Italy. But here you are, dating someone else already. I was wrong about you."
I didn't know what to say. I did had a feeling that Janine must have told her false rumors about me. She honestly was not entirely wrong, I did or do like Asher. I just wasn't forcing myself on
