"There's something I need to tell you." Amelie couldn't hide his excitement and walked towards him.
Chaim tilted his head back slightly, and when she approached him, he extended his hand to grab hers, pulling her into his lap.
"What is it?" Chaim asked curiously.
"I found out that my period was delayed by a week." Amelie looked into his eyes and said.
Chaim's expression immediately revealed worry, "What happened to you? Is there something wrong?"
Amelie pursed her lips and smiled. She could not hope that this man, who had so many things to do every day, would be able to think about the matter of getting pregnant right away.
"This is our first time. It has been almost twenty days! I think I might be pregnant." Amelie told him her thoughts.
