Danielle paced her bedroom, alone. Wait... Not really alone. Her hand hovered over her stomach like it might offer answers, or comfort, or maybe just proof that something had changed. It hadn’t. Not really. Not yet. But it would. Christina had only left to get tea. A ten-minute window to fall apart without an audience.
