Danielle sprinted through the trees faster, feeling the strength of her wolf surfing through her. Her muscles moved with precision, her paws barely making a sound. She felt the thrill of speed, the release of her instincts. She almost felt joyfully free. Was this what being a werewolf was supposed to feel like? Then she heard the sounds of paws behind her.
