Now that the hood had been lowered, Danielle could see the woman’s face. Her breath hitched and she immediately wished she had never seen it. The woman underneath wasn’t ugly. In fact, she was far from it. She was the kind of beautiful you ran from. The kind that smiled as it offered you tea laced with poison. Beautiful, yes. But like a trap you’d be stupid to admire.
