|A few days later|

"So you're telling me y'all don't have their records in the system". I ask putting the phone on speaker.

"Yes sir I've looked five times and nothing about a dna test pops up". She said causing me to sigh.

"Alright thanks". I said before hanging up.

I've been calling all around to find out we're doctor Lee stayed and I've been coming up short. I really want my kids back but I'm feeling at a loss.

Scrolling down I see an address for a Dr. Dean Lee. Grabbing the pen and pad I had laying beside my I quickly write down the address.

"PLEASE let this be the address".I say to myself before slipping on my shoes and grabbing my keys.

Walking out of the house I lock the door and make my way to my car.

~Meanwhile across town~

The kids walk into their moms room climbing on her bed.

"Mommy when can we go back to daddy". Alyssa asked as both her and Josiah stared at Maranda.

"Daddy said he didn't want you guys anymore that's why y'all are staying with me". She said looking between the two.

"Don't listen to her Sissy she's lying". Josiah said glaring at me.

"He wouldn't say that". Alyssa said as her eyes started to tear up.

"You want to see the message he sent me". She asked them and they nodded.

Pulling out her phone she goes to the message that Valerie sent saved as Adonis's name.

Handing them the phone they read it.

I don't want them anymore you can have them. They're bad as f**k and don't listen I can finally be free of them.

Handing the phone over Josiah grabs Alyssas hand and walks out of the room and to theirs.

Leaning back into the head board Maranda smirks.

"I thought daddy loved us". Alyssa said as she cried.

"It's okay don't cry sissy mommy and Valerie loves us". He said hugging his sister.

Getting out of the car I look down at the piece of paper to make sure I was at the right address.

When I seen that I was I walk up and knock on the door. Standing back I wait as I hear the locks coming undone.

"Hello may I help you". An old white lady said as she gave me a small smile.

"Hey does Dr.Dean Lee live here". I ask and she nods giving me a small smile.

"Come in and follow me". She said moving to the side letting me step in.

Walking behind her I look around and see all types of degrees on the wall.

"Honey you have a visitor". She said walking into a room and once I walked in I stood there staring.

There was Dr. Lee lying in the bed with tubes and s**t.

"He can't talk or move because he's paralyzed but he has a board with letters that you show him and you say it out loud and if it's the correct letter he'll make a sound". She said and I nod taking the Board from her and she walks out.

"I came to you for a dna test years ago do you remember me". I ask before pointing to the Y and he made a voice then I pointed to the E and he mad another voice letting me know that's a yes.

"My kids mother took them away from me saying I wasn't the father and she had papers and the doctor I was going to as you to come to court with me but I see that you can't". I said with a sigh dropping my head.

Hearing him groan I look up at him bringing the board back up I begin to go through the letters.

"I'm sorry that I can't help". I said as I put the words together.

"It's fine thank you anyway though and have a blessed day". I said putting his board back and walking out of the room.

"Done already". His wife asked.

"Yes thank you". I said walking out and getting in my car.

Pulling out my phone I dial Lailas cousin number.

"I need you to set me up a court date".I said pulling off.

"This judge gone get tired of seeing our ass". He said causing us both to laugh.

"I don't give a f**k what he tired of I want my damn kids back". I said herring movement in the background.

"The only available date is in three days". He said as I made a left turn.

"Alright thank you man I appreciate it". I said before hanging up.

I have the right mind to not beat that bitches ass cause I been thinking about it for weeks now.

~25 minutes later~

Finally making it to the house I get out the car and walk into the house to see it was clean.

"I cleaned it while you were gone". Laila said walking from the living room.

"Thank you". I said bringing her into a hug before kissing her.

"No problem I also cooked so go shower and meet me in the kitchen". She said slapping my butt causing me to pick her up and spin her around as she laughed.

"Don't touch my ass". I said kissing her before putting her down.

"Okay hurry before the food gets cold". She said and I nod jogging up the steps.

I don't know what I would do without her...
