Alyssa asked looking up at me causing me to look away from the tv. "Yes my queen". I said causing her to smile. "Does mommy love us". She asked causing Josiah to look away from the tv and at me. "Of course she does". I said running my hands through her hair. "Then how come she doesn't come to our birthday parties or games and stuff". Josiah said with a sad look. "She's busy but you know she said she's going to send you guys things other than letters". I said trying to cheer them up. "Really she really said that". They asked at the same time making me laugh. "Yea she did". I said nodding my head smiling as they started talking to each other about what she could possibly be getting them. No lie I feel bad about lying to my kids but I don't want them thinking that they aren't loved cause that would hurt them and that's one thing that would push me to the edge. "Daddy can we go to Lailas house". Josiah said and I nodded my head. "Go put y'all shoes on and let's go". I said pulling out my phone texting Laila to see if it was alright to stop by. "Daddy tell Josiah to stop pushing me before he get laid out". Alyssa said bucking at him causing me to laugh. They both took boxing so Alyssa felt like she could finally beat up her brother. "Duke that s**t out". I said jokingly folding the blanket on the couch. Throwing her shoes on the ground she started swinging and all he did was block. "What the hell I wasn't serious". I said watching as he slammed her on the ground softly. "Alright enough of that lets go". I said walking over and pulling a smiling Josiah off of a smiling Alyssa. "Y'all f*****g crazy". I said as they put their shoes on. Getting in the car I pull of towards Lailas house. ~Lailas house~ Knocking on the door it opens and the twins attack her legs with hugs. "I missed you guys". She said rubbing their backs with a smile. "We missed you too lala". Alyssa said looking up at her. "Jacoby is back there playing the game". She said and they both ran off to the back. Walking in I go to the living room and take a seat. "What you doing". I ask watching as she was about to sit down. "What it look like". She said causing me to smack my lips. "Come sit right here". I said patting my lap and she shook her head no. As she started to sit down again I grab her arm and make her sit in my lap. "You know I appreciate you right". I said causing her to look at me. "Why I haven't did anything". She said with a confused look. "Yes you have you've babysat the kids for me when I have to go to work and I do crazy ass hours so I really appreciate you and you helped me with them since they were young". I said rubbing her thigh as she leaned back into me. "They are great kids so I don't mind watching them at all". She said causing me to smile. "Yea I know that but that's not your job that's a job their mother is supposed to do". I said kissing her neck as she turned all the way around in my lap. "I never even heard you talk about their mother where is she". She asked and I shrugged my shoulders. "s**t I don't know". I said just as the kids ran in. "We want ice cream". Josiah said as the other two nodded. "Let's go then". Laila said causing them all to scream and jump around. Shaking my head I stand up and walk out the door with them getting in the car while she locked the door. I really appreciate this girl and she don't know how much...
