The Forgotten Hybrid Princess

Chapter 12

As promised Kol was waiting for us by the jet,

"Are you ladies ready for the summer of a lifetime", Kol exclaimed.

Me, Lexi, and Morgan looked at each other and said in unison “well yes sir I think we are”, to many old westerns as you can tell. We all boarded the plane and waved our goodbyes as the door shuts, the caption comes over the intercom" welcome aboard and that we will be taking off soon, that the flight is 3 hours long". The flight attendant came over and asked if we needed anything, I had never been in an airplane before so I was a bit nervous and I think Kol could tell so he came and sat next to before I knew it, I was asleep. I heard someone calling my name, then shaking me, could this be another dream.

"Heaven, Heaven are you hungry? Morgan was just staring at me like I had two heads.

What’s on the menu, I asked.

Whatever you want, she can cook it all.

Omg how long have I been sleep?

You have been sleeping since we took off, we only have another hour or so before we land Lexi added.

A burger and fries would be great right about now, I said while stretching. When the flight attendant came back though she came and gave me a bacon double cheeseburger with all the fixing, fries and a strawberry shake. I was in heaven by the time I was finishing up my meal we were starting to land, looking out the window I had never seen anything so beautiful in my life I wanted to explore everything I could, who knows what I can accomplish in 4 months.

We have gathered our bags and heading to the hotel on the way I could not help but notice the magnificent scenery everything was so full of color; all the people were so full of life. We arrived at the hotel it looked like something you would only see in the movies. We walked into the lobby it had marble floors with black and white furniture very elegant, whoever set this up has a good eye for fashion. The front desk was a dark mahogany color with gold trim, if the downstairs looks like this, I wonder what our rooms looked like.

“Heaven did you hear me”, Morgan said while smiling like a little kid in a candy store.

“No what’s up Mo”, I said while still looking around.

“Our rooms are on the 6th floor, there is a pool out back, the bar is around the corner, and the beach is down the path, we will be able to see it from our rooms”, Morgan explained.

“Great, what do we do first”, I said.

“We are heading to the room to unpack and catch a quick nap. You are the only one who really had a nap, so we can start the vacation tonight, might hit up a party”, she said looking at me.

So now I’m up all alone thinking of things to do, so I guess I will explore our home for the summer. Uncle James got us the penthouse suite; it is two whole floors. The bottom floor is where the kitchen, dining room, living room and a bathroom. All the bedrooms are upstairs each with its own bathroom, the balcony connects to all our rooms. The kitchen was all white with marble counter tops, the fridge and cabinets were stocked up with any and everything we could have ever wanted.

The dining room matched the kitchen except the chairs were black, the living room was a mix it was black and white leather, with a marble coffee table with a large television on the wall, perfect for movie night. Back upstairs in my room I had a king size bed with black and gold bedding which happens to be my favorite color. The bathroom is big as well with large tub and a shower fully stocked. If I didn’t know any better, I would have to think that each of our rooms were customized for us before we got here. Aunt Fatima who else I thought to myself when I noticed the note on the table next to my bed:

I hope everything is exactly how it is supposed to be I tried to make sure that all of you had all your favorite things in your rooms to make it feel a little more like home. Enjoy your vacation you have definitely deserved it

Now that that’s out the way, why not take this time to explore this bathroom a little better starting with a bath to relax my muscles. While running the water I grab the bath bead on the side of the tub and dropped it in. When the water reached a good level, I got undressed and slide into the tub letting the water and the bath bead work its magic. I must have dozed off cause the water is now lukewarm borderline of getting cold, that is my cue that I might still be a little tired. Getting out of the tub pulling the plug the drain the water out I wrapped the towel around my body and walked back into the room sat down on the bed and put on my lotion. Sleep must have taken over me again:

Who is there?

It’s me my love Bishop. It’s been so long since I have seen you, where have you been? I have been dying to hold you in my arms, kiss you and let you know that everything will be okay, but you had shut me out. What happened?

This is a dream, what does he mean. Is this a dream? Now I’m confused.

Don’t worry my love everything will work out just wait and see, But I must go now I’ll see you soon.

When I woke up, I couldn’t believe that I had yet another dream it had been so long since my mind wondered off long enough to have multiple dreams. Just then I realized that I fell asleep in my dam towel, let me get up and put some clothes on, walking to the closet I stopped and looked at myself in the mirror. So much has changed about me over these last couple of years, I have grown into my features so much. I’m still 5’6, but I have a little more weight now I’m 195lbs., just an ordinary girl if you ask me with a little extra, my hair is still the same reddish brown with blonde highlights that now falls to my waist, my curvy frame everything falls perfectly in all the right places. That one deep dimple on the left side of my face, but my eyes are the most special thing to me because they are a unique ocean blue with a tint of grey.

I had become really obsessed with tattoos after the death of my mother it was kind of a way to forget all the pain, I have been dealing with over the years, each one is special in it’s on way, but my double wolves are my all-time favorite ones of all. I grabbed a sundress and some sandals out of the closet and laid them on the bed, put my hair in a messy bun. Walking back to my bag I grabbed a simple shirt and some shorts and headed downstairs to grab something to eat my because my stomach is making noises louder than my own thoughts. As I was heading down the stairs, I could hear the crew eating while trying to figure out what they are planning to do tonight.

Hey heaven we were thinking about going to a club tonight, want to come? Lexi stated

Not tonight Lexi I think I just want to go take walk on the beach, take some pictures and relax. Maybe next time, Kol was giving me this look like he wanted to say something, but I cut him off. You guys go and enjoy yourselves we have the whole summer. As I was walking in the kitchen Kol said there is some chicken and rice on the stove, smiling from ear to ear because Kol knows how much I love food especially Jamaican chicken and rice.

So what time are you guys planning on heading out to the club, Morgan smiled as she said as soon as we get dressed so I would say in about an hour or two. Looking in the fridge to get something to drink I said don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.
