Joanna's waking me up this morning wasn't in her usual Military way but rather soft and sweet I had to raise a brow at her in questioning as I pulled myself up to a sitting position on my bed.
"Happy Birthday Alexa!!!!" She Beamed throwing her arms around me as she cheered.
"Happy Birthday Happy Birthday" she repeated on and on as she squeezed me in her arms sounding more excited about my own birthday than I actually did as I just looked at nothing in particular with wide eyes.
Holy sh*t, it's the 29th day of June, it is my birthday!
How bad it must have been for me from being so excited about my own birthdays growing up, to wake up on my Twenty first one, totally forgetting that it actually is my birthday.
