Sitting in the same position silently for several minutes, I raised my head up to look at him when he cracked his throat.
"Nothing I ever say to you is actually going to make sense, but I do owe you an apology" he finally spoke up after minutes of hesitation.
Apology? A mere sorry isn't gonna undo what's been done now would it?
Part of me just wanted him to shut his mouth and the other part wanted to listen to whatever he had to say.
