Beep beep beep beep my alarm rang out through my room waking me up slowly. I slammed my fist down on it, breaking another alarm clock. Sadly just as I was getting back to sleep I felt ice cold water get dumped on me. I jolted and set up with wide eyes just to see my best friend, who is also my alpha, standing over me.

He had a smug smirk on his face as he grabbed my foot and pulled me out of my bed. "C'mon! We have a meeting to go to!"

"When did a meeting get scheduled?" I asked and got up walking to my closet. "Where is it"

"Silver moon pack, and it was scheduled the other night I just forgot to tell you" he started to laugh and I just rolled my eyes and got dressed then did my hair.

We made our way to the car I looked in and didn't see Luna Alexis. Unsurprised I just got in and leaned against the door still tired. I was weary of this meeting; the silver moon pack was never an ali but they weren't ever the enemy either. We have little to no information on them and no real trust with them. At most we have an understanding not to attack the other.

I fell asleep on our way there. Before I knew it I fell out of the car and onto a gravel road "Hey asshole that hurts!" I looked up to see an unfamiliar face.

The man was toned. His face was chiseled, but smooth. His eyes were a light blue but his hair was a charcoal black and neatly styled. He was wearing a white t-shirt that hugged his torso, perfectly displaying his muscles and abs.

I realized I was staring so I shot up and dusted myself off "sorry I thought you were someone else" I tried to say nonchalantly but suddenly my wolf started freaking out 'MATE' he screamed at me.

'I'm not gay! I'm not gay! I'm not gay! I'm not gay!" I repeat the same 3 words to myself throughout the entire meeting. My wolf was going crazy. I could feel him running laps and jumping around, howling wildly. It was distracting and annoying. I heard someone say my name so I forced myself out of my thoughts. "Yes?"

My alpha looked at me suspiciously but then just rolled his eyes "as I was saying my beta and will be providing some rooms in our guesthouse for you all" I set up straight. My eyes wandered around the room; the man that had done this to me seemed to be in a daze and stared off into space.

The meeting disbanded and I watched his alpha hit him over the head making my wolf growl, but I just got up excused myself and walked out thinking to myself "I didn't know that there were able to be gay mates!"

I walked into my house to be greeted by my sister, who thought it would be a good idea to tackle me. Out of reflexe I threw her into a wall and pinned her…..or at least tried. Her reflexes kicked in right then as well. She elbowed me in the gut and then headbutt me roughly. Our fight continued and somehow got us outside, but that didn't stop us. I saw our alpha out of the corner of my eye but he didn't say anything so we didn't stop.

I finally got the beast pinned to the ground to where she can't move. "What the hell was that!" I heard an alpha shout making both my sister and I cringe. I slowly got up and let my sister up as well. We saw the horrified look on all the different faces of the alphas and Betas, only making us burst out laughing.

Justin sighed but I could see he was trying not to laugh. He turned to our guests. "Please do not be alarmed this is a daily occurrence. They are equally matched in power and technique, so they are often sparing like this throughout the day" he explained with the straightest face he could muster.

My sister, Elizabeth, jumped onto my back with a charming smiling. Making some of them blush but I heard a quiet growl from somewhere making my sister flinch. She then leaned down to me and whispered in my ear. "Uhhhh did u make an enemy or something? One of the guys are glaring at us"

I blushed almost immediately realizing who it was that growled at us. I bared my neck to them showing respect. "I apologize for the outburst. Please continue on with your visit as you wish. Feel free to ask for anything and someone in the pack will help you" I stood up straight and walked back in my house taking Elizabeth with me "so why are you in my house?"

"Oh well there has been a week spot in some of our defenses and I was coming to see if you could help me this afternoon since your schedule is clear after that meeting she explained to me only irritating me more.

"Ya, fine I will" I sigh and go to my room and change into my work out clothes then make my way to the training area.

When we got there all of the alphas and Betas were watching curiously. And I immediately ran over the group that my sister had gathered and tried to ignore everyone else.

Xander and I made our way to the packs training ground. My wolf was on edge from that girl all over our mate, but I highly doubt he accepts us. I have never heard of gay mates, but who knows really. The moon goddess gave me him for a reason; I'm not going to doubt her decision.

As we got there we were greeted by the rest of the alphas and Betas that were at the meeting. There were probably 12 of each. I watched some of the fighters practice. They were clearly newbies.

I was tempted to get up and correct them but I figured it wasn't my place and didn't want to start any unnecessary fights.

Suddenly that intoxicating smell came to me again. The scent of and outdoors bomb fire and colonel. It smelt heavenly. All I wanted to do was run to him, throw myself into his arms and breathe in his wonderful scent. I looked around to find him only to see him with that girl again.

I chastised my wolf for trying to take over again. We didn't know the situation. So we had no right to intervene in his life like that. … Even if he was our mate. Maybe he isn't maybe we're just really gay.

He walked past us, chin high and began pointing out the men's flaws in their fighting styles. He was so strong and perfect. His shirt hugged his chest perfectly displaying his broad shoulders and biceps. His sweatpants wrapped around his thick ass.

Suddenly I was hit in the arm getting snapped out of my trance. I turned to see Xander smirking at me. "You're staring at that beta pretty hard today" he teased, making me blush and turn away.

"So?" I asked, trying to sound nonchalant about it. "What are you implying alpha"

"Is he your mate or something?" Xander asked as sharply as ever.

"Who's to say" I shrugged.

"He is! isn't he!" His smile grew brighter and he got in my face. I took a step back but fell over a rock. Naturally a stiffened waiting for the hit of the ground on my butt.

However it didn't come. Instead I felt shots of electricity flare up in my back chest and arms. I looked down at his arms against my chest holding me firmly but gently.

I looked up at him as he lifted me to my feet. I couldn't help but smile. My wolf purred at how close we are. His eyes were a hazelnut brown that perfectly complemented his chocolatey brown hair. "Oh sorry" I chuckled and hesitantly stood up not wanting to leave his arms but already feeling the stares.

"It's nothing" he shrugged and I looked away a bit trying not to show my blush.

"Ok um …. I'll- I'll leave you alone now" I smiled and waved at him.

"Ok cya" he gave me a half smile and waved at me as he walked away. I felt my heart flutter as I walked back to a mocking Xander. I glared at him

I whisper yelled at him "WHAT THE HELL MAN!" I knew we were heard by everyone around us but I ignored it trying to get my emotions and wolf in check.
