“What time do you have to go back in?” Jay asked Mallory as we sat around outside. “In about ten minutes.” “Us too,” Riley added, referencing him and Nica. I had been shocked to see her outside in our spot when Jay and I first walked out. I tried not to let it show though, and took my usual spot against the half-wall.
