Chapter 9: Dream (Part 3)

Hyde What a fun day! Fighting with my brothers, laughing at Uncle Frey and Uncle Black. It would have been perfect if I could fight my brothers. I really need to. They can copy Dad's movements, after all. I can't wait to learn how to fly in the air the way Dad does. I hope he teaches me soon! Just jumping up and walking in the air like it's just a regular thing to do. Argh, it pumps me up just thinking about it. Oh, I kicked Demios by accident. I hope he isn't too angry. Eh, it doesn't matter. Hmm, I see a massive building that has weird symbols on it. A circle with 12 cuts in the middle, but the middle is another circle. How strange! There's a massive red gate in front of the building with a rope hanging sideways on the second red wooden plank that connects the two huge pillars. According to what Uncle Frey was talking about when it comes to buildings, this should be a temple. A boy about six to seven with blue hair and black eyes is in a meditating position that Dad forces us to be in when he wants us to train our mind. Strange, the boy looks pale and has ears pointy than mine. But who is that behind the boy? It looks like an old lady with blue hair and gold eyes like my brother. Although Demios only has one eye like that, and her skin looks really, really bad. "Minger! What have I said about cultivating outside? You know what would happen if others saw people from our Fey race in the temple," the old lady reprimanded. "But grandma, it feels so much nicer outside, and you said it yourself that our Fey race has an innate ability to connect with natures elements," Minger argued. "Who taught you to be cheeky? Go back inside and read the scriptures," yelled the grandmother. Whoa, it's going really fast now! Almost like time is speeding up. Does he do this every day? How boring! If that were me, I would have run away by now. Reading books is the worst. Well, it's not like I forget what I read anyways. But seriously, that would be worse than Uncle Frey's lessons of knowledge or Dads lessons on the human body. The waves reverberate in the air, loud sirens wailing in the distance, the picture distorting in front. Hyde stood motionlessly as the changes chopped and changed with little care to his eye health. Oh, that thing has it stopped now that blue-haired boy has grown up a bit. He is pretty tall, and he's almost as strong as my Dad. "I hope grandma understands. My talents would be wasted here. I can save lives and become a hero like the stories the bards sing about outside. I have more control over the divine element, the healing element, and the life element. But I finally know what I'm destined to do," the blue-haired teenager laughed, running fast towards a nearby village. However, before entering the town, he noticed a bright light crashing down a fair distance from the town on a land covered in fog. Following the man, Hyde could see him caressing a small ring. What is that ring? It looks so cool! I want one! Why is he just staring at it? Give it to me. If I show this to Miko and Demios, they would be so jealous! "What a mysterious artefact... I wonder what power it holds. Maybe it will be my special weapon in defeating the bad guys and rescuing people. hahahaha I've lucked out," the blue-haired teenager laughed, slapping his thighs. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Distortions were controlling time, the former blue-haired teenager with eyes full of sparkling naivety, smooth skin, luscious curly blue hair intertwined on a head full of hair, his features striking, a sharp contrast from his curly blue hair. A teenager blessed by nature with little to no imperfections to his appearance. Eyes shone in the darkness, penetrating in Hyde's direction. "After 675 attempts and 100 years, I've finally made the element." A hunchbacked old man with one foot in the grave, bundles of blue hair, shedding on his shoulders with his every movement a shade of former youth. The man's hands shaking as he caressed purple orb filled sparks and clouded white seeds. "Now I can become a true hero that beats up bad guys. But more importantly, save lives. What should I call this element, hmm let's think… creation? It's not bad, not bad at all." Minger said with his magnetising black eyes sparkling with the wisdom of ignorance. Casting a glance at the ring on his hand, he quietly mumbled. “i neolaía tou sthénos” *Click* Click* The man on the cusp of death smiled, his skin illuminating the small room around him. Hyde could hear the old man's bones cracking. "Why is it so loud?" Hyde shouted, covering his ears. But what Hyde saw after the light faded made his eyes rapidly blink, his mouth drooling with greed. Ignoring the young handsome blue-haired man in front of him. Hyde began shouting with every fibre of his being, "Gimme Gimme Gimme, it looks even cooler now! Let me borrow it for like a year no for 50 years no, let me have it pretty please I promise I cannot give you anything for it," "So, you can recognise its value," A voice said in approval. "Of course, don't you see that sword, its black, which is my favourite colour, has a really cool looking design on the hilt and look at that glow. Please, please, I want it! Give it to me," Humoured, the voice responded, "So what do I get from you?" "Nothing!" Hyde grinned. "Absolutely nothing but maybe a thank you," "Then why should I give it to you?" The voice scoffed playfully. "Because people call me cute," "Do you understand what your saying? Actually, nevermind, you are just a child after all," The voice replied distressfully. "I'm not stupid, you know, I know that I don't have anything to give you except my food, and my Uncle promised me never to sell my food to anyone," "Are you sure he didn't mean anything else?" "Nope, he definitely meant food. Speaking of food, do you have any? I've been hungry for a while now, and you keep hurting my eyes with those weird things." "My name is Minger," The voice said. "Eh again",, Hyde closed his eyes. "Hero Hero Hero Hero!!!" the soldiers chanted on the field despite the city being in ruins from the war. Opening his eyes, Hyde could see about forty people standing behind the blue-haired man, chanting and praising him. "No, please, it's what I should be doing," Minger replied with an earnest smile. "Without you, millions would have died! How can you still be such a humble Heavenly saint?" the man added, his armour falling off his body. . Wow, that's so boring. "Why are you telling them to stop when you like it? Why not let them continue? You look cool and all, but you are so boring. Huh, why is it so dark all of a sudden?" "Descendant, you have seen my past, and you understand why I have chosen you. Are you ready to inherit my power?" announced the voice. "You didn't show me anything!" "The power to create all things that are deemed impossible like the man I used to be," Minger laughed sorrowfully. "Hey, listen to me!" "Yes, I know you are desperate to be like I was," Minger said. "No, I don't want to be like that boring blue-haired guy, don't get me wrong, he's cool and all, but I don't want to be like you. I want to have epic battles like my Dad, and I want to explore the world," Hyde shouted. "Eh, you don't really have a choice in the matter. I've already imprinted my gift into your blood, and you can't go to any other branch for your bloodline ability", Minger replied "But I said I didn't want to be like you, though, "Hyde yelled furiously. "Make it your power, my descendant, as this is something above you," Minger demanded. "What is wrong..." ~~~~
