Me, Den and Aaron walked up to the alter where the priest stood saying his incantations. Everyone’s attention turned to us. “It is time.” The priest uttered urging us to move closer to him. I peaked out the windows to see it was already midnight on the dot. My parents smiled at me, saying the words they always say. “It will be okay.” They chanted in a whisper. The priest ordered us to put our hands under a box. Suddenly the air becomes tight and the box felt locked with our hands on it. “Don’t worry about the air, focus on what your brain shows you.” He order and I did as he said.
