Macy felt her wooing of Harper had been going well, but it didn’t help that the woman seemed to constantly be outdoing her—not that it was a competition. Every romantic gesture Macy had made was always met with one just as thoughtful and considerate. She couldn’t complain. She’d never been so happy in a relationship before, it almost felt undeserved.
