Breaking through your destiny

THE SEED

Its been 6 years since I know the lord Jesus , before I knew the lord I was broken and shattered I lived to just die , and I did things to make myself die prematurely , I was addicted to nicotine from the age of 12 and should indulge in drugs sometimes , alcohol also most weekends at the age of 16 all lost and broken , crying out to just leave this world , I was introduced to Jesus by a friend who then should bring me to church , i should see people getting healed and delivered at every service , I saw people who were lost now have been filled with joy , and I had a sense of hope that maybe this God can help me , I began going to church often and slowly drifted away from friends , but daily I should feel not good enough , I learnt what Jesus did for me on the cross of calvary but I was still unable to digest that, I walked around always wondering why was I put upon this earth , why didn’t God just give me a family who showered me with love and affection , I wasn’t good at anything either talentless , that’s how I felt even after knowing Jesus , many believers are in the same position today , they just walking aimlessly as life pass them by , there’s know growth spiritually , you still struggling with hurt and addictions , and living a life without purpose, incidents of fear and anxiety always follow you , you go to church but still you living a life without purpose , but that’s not who God has created you to be , The LORD says, “It was my will that he should suffer; his death was a sacrifice to bring forgiveness. And so he will see his descendants; he will live a long life, and through him my purpose will succeed. (Isaiah 53:10) , we find through the lord Jesus the purposes of God will be fulfilled , but whats stopping the children of God from fulfilling the plan and purpose upon the face of the earth , I often blamed my surrounding and what I didn’t have that is why I had no purpose that is why I have no growth spiritually .

Many times I read about David and Goliath, it’s a victory remembered so victoriously among believers and unbelievers, why is seen has great victory .

We recognize that the philistine spirit was a spirit that was prideful with worldly intellect, this spirit is linked to the god Dagon , Dagon is a spirit that destroys the growth of Christians , always creating warfare for the children of god , causing stagnancy in the lives of believers , we find that the philistines kept territories that belonged to the children of God , in the book of 1 Samuel we find the defeat of the philistine Goliath was known for great victory over the Israelites , has God anointed a man of warfare which was David and we find in this specific scripture the strategy to defeating the philistine spirit that destroys the growth of many believers through the germinating process of believers , has we find in the new testament about the seed , Dagon was worshipped as a fertility god , the waring with the philistines caused the plan and purpose and the prosperity of the children of god to remain dominate.

We find that Goliath was from Gath , a place where giants dwelt , the philistines where in battle with the Israelites , probably all the time since that was they opposition , the Israelites where familiar with the giants from Gath but what made Goliath stand out , Goliath had confidence in his strength and his stature he intimidated the Israelites , by coming out day and night and insulting and belittling the Israelites and defaming God . 1 Samuel 17:8-32 ERV

Each day Goliath would come out and shout a challenge to the Israelite soldiers. He would say, “Why are all of your soldiers lined up ready for battle? You are Saul’s servants. I am a Philistine. So choose one man and send him to fight me. If that man kills me, he wins and we Philistines will become your slaves. But if I kill your man, then I win, and you will become our slaves. You will have to serve us.” The Philistine also said, “Today I stand and make fun of the army of Israel. I dare you to send me one of your men and let us fight.” Saul and the Israelite soldiers heard what Goliath said, and they were very afraid.

As children off God the enemy is unable to touch us , but he can intimidate and speak in our minds to believe what he says and cause fear and anxiety upon our lives making us feel we not good enough or we will never move forward spiritually and in the natural , this happens daily where the enemy is assigned to stagnant you against the purposes of God or imprison you so you don’t move forward ,daily the enemy is assigned to intimidate you and sow seeds of doubt and fear , this was a phase in the Israelites life where they growth where stopped , and they territory that belonged to them where occupied by the enemy , the spirit of Dagon ( a Philistine God – as known a god of fertility) with this demonic spirit over the seed and growth of the children of God they could not move forward ,they where always stuck at the valley of Elah , in our own lives as well we are stuck in one place of our life we are unable to move forward we are unable to claim what’s ours as children of God , we are unable to take our blessing and spoils that belong to us , due to the demonic spirit of fertility Dagon , this is where we need to evaluate our lives and discern where this spirit is operating in our lives , the Goliath in your life will keep you stuck as long as you are afraid , fear and anxiety is what he brings , many of us are unable to move forward due to addictions , hurt ,fear, discouragement because we allow these negativity to dictate to us daily , and that’s exactly how I lived and many of you has well daily you are tormented by the lies of Goliath and living a life stuck at the valley of Elah and not sure how to cross over the situation the enemy had put Infront of you .

Has I got closer to the lord by mediating upon his word and through revelation the Goliath that stood in my way was addiction ,hurt and rejection I couldn’t move forward due to this spirit tormenting and speaking to me daily you not good enough , smoking is too hard to quit , no one loves you , this enemy just intimidates daily , but through the holy spirit I found that there was a character in David and a strategy that God revealed through David to conquer this Goliath that stands in the way of the blessings and breakthrough that is ours .

The bible says Rom 8 : 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. 38 For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. In this very scripture we find that this is what David had instilled in him, his confidence in who God is , was so enriched in him that the enemy could not intimidate him to believing him because he knew who fights for him , Deuteronomy 31:8 - ""The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. David understood that it was Gods battle and not his , in the bible we see that David spoke about him fighting the bears and lions in the field to protect the sheep , how was David able to defeat these animals what was his strategy , how did he become so confident in the lord , his training ground was in the field , 1 Samuel 17:34-37 New Living Translation (NLT) But David persisted. “I have been taking care of my father’s sheep and goats,” he said. “When a lion or a bear comes to steal a lamb from the flock, I go after it with a club and rescue the lamb from its mouth. If the animal turns on me, I catch it by the jaw and club it to death. In this scripture we find that David conquered to kind of assignment that of a lion and that of a bear , when David faced the lion he drew the courage and the strength needed to conquer the lion as believers we look at things from a natural perspective of things rather than the spiritual the bible says we are in this world but not of the world , that includes that the bible is spiritually and spiritually David developed and conquered the enemy in ways we do not recognize that he actually did .
